Deep crop and enlarged (2x) with Gigapixel...a frugal man's 600mm f4 for less than 1% the cost.

I'm fumbling but the picture has great clarity when downloaded. Could you post a before and after Gigapixel of the picture to show how Gigapixel affected the picture? Thanks.

What accessories are useful and are there any that can not be lived without. I have never used a tripod before and do not know what else helps to make the tripod more useful. I will be using with a Pentax k-3. (cable/elec release??)

4. Pentax SMC 300mm F4 telephoto lens $50?

Banana, I don't feel I know you well enough to call you by your given name, is the above lens still available? If so, I'm your huckleberry.
How do we arrange payment? and shipping? What about a return if I am not satisfied?

I'm not sure anyone will suggest a hammer as an apropreate tool for lens work. Where did you find a Canon 100mm f2.8 hammer???

Just joshing. Some time you just have to try the unthinkable. Happy for your good luck.

My choice would be no1 or no 4. Since the contest theme is butter flys, these two pictures feature the butter fly without a great deal of background.
No 4 focuses on the butter fly but is not as Rigid as No 1's composition. INMHO Rich

Old(?) Hippy(?) This is surely an oxymoron.
Your flowers are works of art!
Is there a reason you do not download downloadable versions?
I wonder how much time is devoted perfecting each?

You are truly a master.
Thank you for sharing your visions.

Yes I know that I will have to work out my

pointers from someone who frequently uses one - general guidelines. Thanks!

Only you can judge what level of sharpness is acceptable with the monopod.
Take some time, have some fun and experiment.
