She is a 10 week old Labradoodle and full of crapola (literally). And a good subject (in a full gallop straight at me) to test out my new Sony A9 with the GM 100-400 plus 1.4x converter. Of coarse she is a bit slower than some of the subjects I will try to capture with this camera (BIF) but a good place to start. (1/2500, F/9/ ISO 800).

The Honey bee is a rather significant crop also taken with the 100-400 gm plus 1.4x (560mm). Not the greatest but not bad considering the crop.

Lots to learn on this camera considering its my first Sony coming from Canon. But, so far so good.

Thanks for looking.

Nicely done! I like the color, pop and clarity. I bet you will get some great video too.

Your pup looks like she is full o the devil- she will keep someone very busy.

Thanks Larry. I assume considering you used "it" you are referring to the camera. Considering the dog, I think I will keep her as well. Appreciate the look. Have a good one!

Yes, she is keeping us very busy. She went into the bathroom the other day, grabbed the tp and ran into the kitchen. It didn't rip. I had a string of tp 25 feet long that I had to recover. I'm sure she was laughing at me. Yes, she is keeping us busy. Appreciate the comments on the photo. Video, don't know much about that but may give it a try.

Thanks for the look Mr. Goldfield. Yes, she is "a joy" but definitely a hand-full! It's estimated she will be about 55# when fully grown. Her mom is a field champion, and considering my wife love to hunt birds, she will be trained. My wife shoots with a shotgun, I shoot with a camera. Hopefully down the road I can get some good shots of her recovering birds. And maybe, she can flush birds for me to shoot with my camera.

Since you are clearly a lover of dogs, this is Cody: he is a rescue from Darien, Georgia.
We live in Wilton, Connecticut.

Cody is about 5 years old and has been with us since June of 2014. His Border Collie heritage seems to predominate, in looks and intellect.

He is a beauty. Border Collie's are typically quite smart and I bet he is a joy as well!

What a sweet looking Doodle! I need a nap just thinking about keeping up. I bet she will pose like a pro for you. We rescued a Springer at the beginning of the year and have missed only a few days of 1 mile walks so far. Of course he gets in 3 miles going into the woods and fields on our way. It is nice to have the sound of small feet in the house again after 17 silent months. And as for photos....

Two great shots with a great new camera!
Ruby looks like a lot of fun, and the honey bee is tack sharp. Enjoy(Ruby and the camera)!
