Apple sells a card-reader-to-iPad cable. Works like a charm and dirt cheap. It auto loads to Photos but you should be able to move them elsewhere after the download.

All over the Nikon site: No iPhone or iPad app until later this year. Seems the ios operating system is to blame

I just purchased the Nikon D500 the other day and am loving it. Found it "in stock" at Unique Photo in Fairfield, NJ. The only issue I have is that I can't seem to figure out how to set-up the wifi to my smartphone. There is nothing I can find on how to do it in the manual. I have done it before on other Nikons without issues and I consider myself fairly tech savy. Any help from the UHH community would be most appreciated.

Snapbridge does not work with Apple IOS yet. Nikon says it will be introduced this summer. In the time being it only works on non-iphones, ipads etc. Check the Nikon website... it explains it all.

I worded the question wrong. Sorry. What I would like to see/hear is if anybody on uhh actually has one and their thoughts and images. The thread feature is cumbersome ..... I did spend time there ..... and wonder about today and not last month; these cameras are just becoming available

Mr Wallace I laughed at your patience quote. My wife tells me that all the time

Thanks for the replies

Anybody have the recently available Pentax FF ? The new Nikons are getting a lot of coverage; Pentax not so much.
If anyone has this camera I would love to hear your thoughts on the camera and maybe a few shots. Thanks, Kevin

Is anybody happy with their camera's built in WiFi system ? I mean is it foolproof, reliable and speedy ? My D7100 with the Nikon adaptor is problematic and I know of another user unhappy with the Pentax version. Is Canon any better ? Fuji, Sony, etc
I imagine each generation gets better, but if I won the lottery would my state-of-the-art camera handle wi-fi well ? Thanks. Kevin

Excuse the obvious question, but what is it that you are unhappy with? I'm guessing it doesn't involve your motorcycle...

Ha ! Motorcycling is only slightly less expensive than photography. GAS there too. As to your question: They bulldozed a neighborhood house yesterday for a new construction. I shot some of it and talked to the guy about his new bulldozer. He hates it. Regrets buying it, the old one was fine etc etc etc.
Then read a negative review this morning on a camera site; made me wonder. Simple curiosity I guess.

I think virtually all photo web sites attract people who enjoy the whole process of photography. Art, science, mechanics etc. We tend to like ... and like to talk about ... our gear. Well what about the other side ?
I am curious as to any negatives. Who is unhappy with their gear ? Who regrets buying or selling a particular item ? Who wishes they could turn back time ? Not necessarily lamenting a favorite lens but a more visceral "I should never have switched" opinion, or "what was I thinking when I bought this ?"

Pravda is hardly unbiased in its reporting. There are quite a few web sites (from various countries) that follow armored vehicle developments. Simply google the topic. The new Russian tank seems to be well received, but there are several studies from western agencies that point out it's weaknesses. Shock is too great a word to use; the tank was several years late in its introduction and western militaries knew it was coming.
