Here in the UK I signed up for pre-order this morning. I confirm order at 1pm UK time tomorrow. The cameras sound great, just wish they could do more with the zoom.
I agree about the EBL batteries, I use an EBL charger & they take all day to charge. They also don’t appear to hold their charge well. I much prefer IKEA batteries. I use the batteries in trail cameras “Togaurd”. The manufacturers advise using non-rechargeable batteries, but that costs a fortune.
Has anyone tried using Lithium batteries in Trail cameras.
Like Tracy B, we have tried many different camera straps and now use Peak Design straps on all our cameras (Canon 7D MkII, Nikon P900 & a couple of compact cameras) & binoculars. Highly satisfied.
I've had a P900 for over a year, I think it is a great camera & can highly recommend it. I have mine on a Peak Design strap, so the camera is not hanging round my neck. I have replacement batteries & charger. For bird photography it is great. I took mine on our holiday to New England in September & got some excellent photos. We went Whale watching, and I was delighted with the photos I took.

Thank you but it's an A4 printer I'm looking for, and way out of my price bracket.
My old photo printer has gone to the garbage tip & I need a new one. My budget is about £100 ($150). Does anyone have any recommendations please.
I had problems loading LR6, the reason was that my PC was a 32bit machine. I had to bite the bullet and reload windows 8.1 64 bit. Which is a pain but ultimately worth while.
Hi Angler
It's a female Great Spotted Woodpecker, we have them in our garden daily. We are lucky to live near a park. Nice photos. Chris
Thank you Angler, the Woodpeckers don't normally come onto the feeders when we are in our conservatory, so I was very fortunate that it did not fly away as usual.
On our bird feeders on Saturday.

Thank you very much for the link to Lightroom 4.3. I have downloaded it and can now see my RAW photos, and more to the point can resume taking photos in RAW.
My husband runs Adobe CS5 (x64bit), he tried to look at the SX50 RAW photos, it wouldn't open them but did show the thumbnail. Weird or what!
My husband has Windows 7 (x64bit) on his computer and also Lightroom 4.2.
Again he loaded direct from my memory chip. Lightroom only recognised the jeps.
My SX50 arrived yesterday. I have not loaded anything from the DVD to my computer, as I had already downloaded the manual.
I took a few shots yesterday. I download into Lightroom 4. I download from my memory card, not the camera. Lightroom recognised my .jpegs but as you say not my RAW photos.
Since reading your post I have tried to load my photos to our ipad, but again no luck there.
