Exactly!! Good work
For years, I did post card work for a Wyoming company and your shot is much better than the one I did for the post card.

Having lived not too far from there and seeing that scene a bunch as well as photos of it, I think what you did is excellent. I like it just the way you did it.

I used an F5 backed up by an F100 for all of my 35 mm work. Both great cameras, I would highly recommend them both. Recently sold them to KEH camera.

Nice set, beautiful country. Where is it in the state?

The first images are of Jenny Lake and the last is String Lake--Teton Park.

I had both done and received the regular implants. Only need glasses for reading and closeup. Of the people that had the trifocals put in that I have heard from, only one was totally satisfied. I understand they are quite good but it takes a bunch of time to use them properly. I take pictures now that are better than before because I don't miss on my focusing. It has been lost evident to me with my macro flower work, very few focusing areas since my surgery.

I used to get most of my chemistry from Photographer's Formulary including D-76. I also used their divided D-76 with good results on my smaller format films. Don't know if they still make it, you might check.

Hi Group,
Until I retired as a magazine editor 3 years ago, I never thought I'd leave the LR/PS $10.00 combo subscription. Then I retired and one day discovered I was "editing" a picture and figured it cost me almost $60.00 to do so; I just wasn't using the program(s) enough to warrant the cost. I've switched to Bridge (free) and PSE/PRE 15 and find they do everything I need for the catalog and magazine photography I still do. I use Bridge almost every day to illustrate pictures (full screen) on Zoom via Screen Share. I'm more than happy with Bridge with the PSE/PRE combo. Take care & ...
Hi Group, br Until I retired as a magazine editor ... (show quote)

That makes sense. I didn't know you could get Bridge free.

I see, I guess no gas is needed when you have 500 horses pulling it>

At some point we have to ask ourselves whether we are photographers or graphic artists. I have a good friend who uses some of my photographs as basis for her computer art. Her work is really cool, and I love how she adds her own vision to my photographs. But replacing the sky and passing this off as an authentic photograph seems ethically challenged to me. Perhaps I could be convinced if Photoshop and Lightroom come out with wife replacement.

Replacing the sky would be cheaper!!

I lived most of my life in Rock Springs and Green River and documented the landscape and history of Wyoming for many years. I don't know your time frame but what you have drawn out is exactly the trip I would plan for you. If you would like to spend a day or two at Laramie, You could make a short side trip through the Snowy Range and come out at Rawlins on I-80 and continue on to Rock Springs. Much of your I-80 trip is desert country which offers some fine sunrise and sunset shots. Teton and Yellowstone are what they are, great. Beartooth pass is a must and Devil's Tower is awfully nice and nostalgic. I think you have mapped it perfectly. If you would like to see many of these places you might check my website.

Here is a link to some photos I did a few weeks back, with that camera, though these are lower quality in the slide show to keep size down. Click on this to down load to your desk top, a thin box will appear at the bottom of your screen and then you choose save or open to see the images.
