I wore mono contact lens. When I had cataract sugary I had mono lens implanted one for distance one for reading. They could do this because I had no problem wearing mono contacts. The DMV cant handle this so I have to take the driving test every 5 years. This year I through in the towel had to take the written test + driving test so I got glasses for distance no driving test.

My wif is going to have the sugery medicare pays for nor sugery which will be a plane corrected lens. Glasses may still be required jus depends. However the technology has changed a lot. They have lazer assisted machines Cost $500,000 there is no medicar code for so you pay another $3,500 dollars then medicars cover there part. You dont have to have this lazar assisted procedure but my wifes doctor made it sound necessary until we pressed the medical staff and our wonderful medicare insurance company with questions. The only person who leveled with us was the person that did the billing to medicare, so be aware ther are a lot of options for lens and for procedures without using a $500,000 machine.

My wifes doctor is a teachin professor on lazer sugery using different procedures. Why this group of doctors would invest this much money in a machine that has no medical billing code is beyond. This $3500 was up front depost was a soft sell or he wont do the sugery. My wife thougt she had to use this procedure.

Question from a friend

I wonder if there is any way to assess lens sharpness with software,
as opposed to getting a bunch of expensive prints made.

Thanks I usually check burrowing but missed it this time. I see there is a balloon fest in Santa Paula. I cant make this one but I did see the show in Albuquerque NM. It's a long day but worth the time earlier the better plus the the glow in the evening.

I was there last year. I would take the 18-250, the floats are big and long. The maintenance team (sweepers) are also entertaining.

Enjoy It's cold in the morning but the sun will be out.

Why is it that in PSE 12 when you drag up it fits the size of the canvas you are working on. When you double click and drag down, it's the actual size. Did PSE add something to their program that does something to the photos/and or elements so that they do not loose any resolution when dragging up?

Sorry The question was to read like the quote I have revised

The drag up or down is a picture that is being added to a canvas size lets that a 12" x 12" but the picture is 8" x 10"

When you drag a 8 x 10 picture up it become 12x12.

When you drag down a 8 x 10 picture to a 12 x 12 canvas it stays as a 8 x 10 on a 12x 12 canvas.

I think you can reword it better than me, but it just seems so strange that when you drag up onto a 12 x 12 from the internet the photo becomes the size of a 12 x 12 or larger yet when you double click and drag down it's a tiny tiny photo.
