what a handsome team. Great shot!
Love the pictures!
I want to do this someday.... *dreams* A friend of mine does too, but she said if she does, I get to be the one hanging off the back to balance the cart! LOL
Soap MacTavish is a video game character in Call of Duty who is a real survivor. My boyfriend thought it was a fitting name for him as he was the sole survivor of his litter.
Thanks everyone :)
Thanks. Can't wait until the horse is no longer a hairy swamp yak and is all shed out with her little Mohawk. Right now she's rocking a mullet. LOL but to me, a shedding horse means spring!
I have the same problem! and out of the handful of people I do know, 95% of them just started out with a camera themselves! LOL
my mom has the same camera as I do, and I share a couple lenses of mine that she doesn't have, and some filters and such. She is just as protective of her gear as I am of mine...so I know it's in good hands.
there, I think I got all of them up there now :) forum was giving me some "timeout" issues for a bit!
Glad to see you joined (this is TheRedHayflinger from BWF, btw) :D I do more reading than posting here, but I've enjoyed the last several months of being here
I like both, but the 2nd just a tad more :)
welcome :) that's the same camera I got late last year and I've been having a blast learning how to use it!
It's been super wet around here, but I've been trying to get out more and practice with the camera :) Sometimes I have to sit inside and make the cat or dog sit for me for a bit (the cat is more obliging than the dog, surprisingly! LOL)
So...thought I'd share some photos I've taken the last few weeks. Always seems like when the day is gorgeous and the weather is prime--I'm stuck at work!
little bluebird of happiness :)
my little SSH pony. With a badly shaved head and a roached mane. She's just starting to shed!
rogue crocus! We had a bunch of these pop up randomly in our yard since January. Best guess--floodwaters deposited the bulbs
It's been recordbreaking hot here the past few days. Didn't know a tulip would open up like this, but then close up and look normal in the late evening!
our cat, Soap MacTavish. One of those raining days--took this fairly late at night/early in the morning
Please...no more pictures!
Welcome! I'm just learning myself on a lot of this stuff--but horses make good practice "models" to take pictures of :)
Hello from another Ohioan :D
I've had GIMP for quite a while. Haven't used it much for photo stuff though--I use it for drawing/coloring. I quite like it and I think it's extremely easy to use
looks more like an American Coot to me...but I'm rusty on my birds.
