Participating in a gun buy back because you believe that the criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you believe that the
neighbors have too many kids.

This is why homeowners need assault weapons. 4 thugs with guns that can shoot faster than you can defend yourself with only a regular gun. I was in Tucson when this happened and it was in a "good" neighborhood. It was all over the news and home invasions went down for a while.

[quote=Wabbit][quote=silverhawk]How about some motorcycle rides in your state....anyone ride the "bike"?? Here's my West Virginia.......:mrgreen:

This link starts with one individual's rides and I will include others below.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This ride is on US-219 (known as the Seneca Trail) from the Virginia border at Richcreek,VA/Peterstown, WV toward Lewisburg, WV, approximately 50 miles and will cross US-60 (known as the Midland Trail) in Lewisburg as it heads toward Elkins, WV...very twistie......approximately a 150 mile trip....(through my hometown of Ronceverte, WV---5 miles South of Lewisburg)
The W Va Cardinal - West Virginia - US-219 North. Coming up from Rich Creek Va, heading North to Lewisburg W. Va. About 45 miles and some of the prettiest countryside you'll find to ride in. These two 10 minute videos do not do this road justice.
You'll just have to ride it and find out all for yourself.
The entire US-219 from the Virginia border all the way into Pennsylvania is a must ride for its beauty and twisties.
Silverhawk...I've been on many of these rides but not all. Great rides! As a matter of fact I hope to ride up 219 to the scenic highway on Monday. I have small farm in Lewisburg I spend time at in the summer and fall. http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/compose_reply.jsp?topicnum=70976&postnum=1188636#
Stay away from the Bower units. Had two of them crash on me at very inopportune moments. Cheap, but unreliable. I'm very happy with the Promaster units I'm using now.
Thanks for the reply. I found a great deal on the Nikon SB 600 that I couldn't pass up.
