Right. We need automatic weapons. But why not Napalm, grenades, missiles and bombs as well? Wouldn't that REALLY take out those thugs?

Right. A missile launcher would have taken care of their car. What do you think would have happened if the homeowner hadn't had a gun. The story would have been "Homeowner killed in home invasion" just like the one that just happened here in Grand Rapids.

No, really. Why not nuclear weaponry? Why not anti-aircraft equipment? That would deter 'em and kill 'em if they weren't deterred. Why stop at just guns? How many car related deaths? lets drop the speed limit to 20 MPH. where is the limit zero? The problem is crime and how to stop it. The police don't stop crimes they investigate after and maybe solve it. Lets work on changing the mind of the criminals. If they think they can get away with it or get a light sentence. If they think they might get killed by someone with a gun they think twice about doing it. Ask any criminal where they are going to go, a place with no guns or a place that is armed. That is why the president, banks or anyone else that needs protection uses them. There are other good ways to protect yourself such as drawing attention to the criminal by whatever means is possible.

Lets here other suggestions on how to protect yourself without guns. That is more productive than arguing. THANKS.
