I also own the Nikon P510, I bought it as a backup camera, but now I use it as my main camera. It does everything well from Macro to Landscapes to portrait and with the 1000mm zoom, I have gotten photos not possible with any of my other cameras. I recommend it to a friend and he bought one also and not dissapointed..And it also does video and panarama photos.
Thanks everyone for your help..

I found that Memory cards or USB Sticks work best for storing photos, they cost a little more then CD's, but will work on any computer and you can pass the cost on to your customers.
You might want to try " youtube.com" there are tutorials there which take you step by step..
I would invest in a camera vest instead of a bag, I wear mine hiking all the time and take all my lenses without having to use a shoulder bag to weigh me down and you would have both hands free. Believe me it really helps ask those who have one..

I got mine about a year ago, I use it often, and there has been no sign of ware. You're right about checking Adorama and 47thh st photo first, I bought many things from them and never was dissatisfied..Excellent choice.

I agree with the others, the second shot is the best of the three..
Try adjusting the diopter on the camera without glasses. It worked for me and I shoot at auto most of the time. At other times I use the bracketing with the sports setting. I just need to point the camera in the general direction and compose the scene somewhat, then edit it with the computer for any fine adjusting..
