If your driving anywhere near me you'll hear classical (full blast) from my speakers. Many strange looks (and comments) are aimed at me but I just smile .............. and enjoy!
Possibly a juvenile Great Blue Heron
Hoss' picture is exquisite ............ the mare and deer are equally compelling but the dog just grabbed me!
Ken ------ welcome to yesteryear. We, too, have no cell coverage, nor cable, nor city water nor gas. We do have garbage pickup (that we don't use), electric and telephone. You learn to live with and be grateful for what you DO have ..............
Good post - certainly brings out what many have thought about. I, too, like the old photographs and many, many moons ago used to develop my own film (b&w) and loved playing with the limited possibilities in my very primitive setup. It still boiled down to the expertise of the photographer as there was so very little that you could do to "improve" on what came out of the camera. You captured the Golden's eye which is where your eye automatically gravitates to ---- and, I remember reading somewhere (here?) that a good photographer keys on the subjects eye and the rest falls into place (sometimes ......... ;o). Contemplation is a good title for this one!
Zebra finch and definately NOT native to your area .............. someones escaped bird is my guess.
Thank you for posting this beautiful piece of work. I quilt but can come nowhere near your wife in her perfection. It's obvious she thoroughly enjoys doing this.
Don't always believe Snopes .......... they make mistakes also. I believe the onion's ability to help cure your ills - I've tried it and IT WORKS!!!

With the Flu season upon us, this might be worth considering. This was sent to me via e-mail and I figured it would be of use to some of you folks. Tejaswrangler, South Texas :)

Notice how the email is the same? That's your first clue.
L-O-V-E the tree shot ..... it makes you think 'cause it's not quite real.
As soon as your pictures popped up - I smell gardenias. WOW!
Absolutely ridiculous ..............
Don't concern yourself - this will NOT happen!
Your wife is lovely and her hair is striking (bet it glints in the sunshine). Camilla, on the other hand, .............
Nice portrait (bet she loves you for this)!
