Iam new to this forum, but I thought this was a place where you learned to be better photographers, by critiqueing your pictures, if my pictures are bad, over exposed, or underexposed, I want to know, I dont want it candy coated, Im here to learn like everyone else...........Pete
I take no offence to your photography, I like your pictures, but being so sensitve and you being a fireman, I was a firefighter for 32 years for Los Angeles County, and one thing I did learn, dont show them your weakness, and I also took pictures for the department, so stand tuff..........Pete
some times when you have a wash out picture a little touch up in lightroom, or what ever program you have, will give it that look that your looking for.

a lot of famous photographers have cheated in post processing one that comes to mind was Ansel Adams, with his yosemite pictures
Cindy a lot of the wow is in the post production, the second picture had vignette to it, and it dosen't come out of the camera like that, you should try lightroom, you can get that wow your looking for. I hope this helps.........Pete
I did this in lightroom, a click of the white blance, and the black slider, and a little temp slider, lightroom is a great program for fixing pictures
