NO viruses were found when I did the scan afte reloading the drivers.


I suspect that when you got an update for your OS or other program, the USB drivers got corrupted. Thanks for the explanation of the solution that worked for your system. BTW, did your scan for viruses, worms or Trojans find anything that seemed suspicious?[/quote]

The pc I build about one year ago. I allowed the OS to find and install the new drivers after I removed it using the device manager.

Just need to say thanks for all the help. When I saw this problem I knew if I posted it that I would have some help, thanks.


Here is the update. I uninstall the drivers and reinstalled for the USB. I did a window update than rebooted. Did a complete virus scan for the hard drive with the OS loaded on it.

Did a test and no longer have the problem. All the files are looking good with no issues.

So case closed!

The first reader is build in to the PC and never had any problems before. The 2nd reader was a kingston type that I never had any issues before also. I used the same USB that is also with the first reader, so it can be the USB it is attached too.

worked fine no problems all images came out good.

OK did the scan for virus and updated the drivers, still have the issue.

I got about the same images on both readers, some changes with some files but for the most they were the same bad files with both readers.

To get the files off the card I used a USB to the camera from the PC to get good images.

So finish a small job, upload the files with a reader install in my pc that I have used 100's of times and get and error and the files are no looking so good, see error files attached.

Change readers to a BRAND new reader thinking the pin was off in the old reader and get, see 2nd card error reader files listed.
One file was so out of focus as you can see.

I place the card back into the camera and the files look great, no problems. I upload the files and see no issues with the camera.

Has anyone had or seen this issue and if so what was the problem, if you know.

I have used Zenfolio web site to host my photos. If you right click you can D/L the file but the file will not print.

I sell my photos on this site throuh many labs they have on line. You can also have orders made and you can print yourself. Good luck.

Also the tc 1.7 is about 9 - 10 years old?? What cont is that in? Will it work with the newest 70 200 mm vr lens?

How old is the 300 f4 lens? What model is it ?

I have 3 fuji cameras. 2 s2 cameras and one s5. I have over 60,000 one each s2 and about 35000 shots on the s 5. All have worked well for me over the years with no issues.
