To me, it's what AI would have generated if asked to improve the original photo. Close but with strange artifacts added like what's been identified.

Nice set. I live in northern suburbs of Belle Isle. It's been several years since I've visited the island. You've motivated me to get back there. Always enjoyed the green house and aquarium, too.

I had a 1969 Dodge Charger, until I got a drag racing ticket....ouch! Always loved the Road Runners. This one is spectacular and the pictures are great.

I purchased one of the older Epson FastFoto scanners. Put in a stack of photos and let it go. Scanned thousands of photos in a relatively short amount of time. It scans various sized photos and can correct imperfections.

I took a different approach to digitizing my vast quantity of slides. I set up my slide projector next to my camera on a tripod. I used a remote control with the camera. Used a white board for the projection screen. Don't remember which lens I used but it was close to capturing the projected area of the slide. The room was completely dark. The quality wasn't equal to a scanner; however, it was good enough to view the captured slides and with post processing for some of the better ones, I was happy enough. It was easy enough that I didn't worry about similar or poor quality slides, just captured them all! I completed twelve to fourteen trays in a few days.

I use an older model Canon Selphy. Quite compact and easy to use. When I attend some weddings I would take photos and print using the Selphy. I would bring a photo book to insert the photos and give this to the bride and groom. Always leaves them speechless to have wedding photos that night.

Several years ago I restored several old studio-taken photos probably from the 20's or 30's. I wanted prints made and the company I took them to stated they were professional photos and they could not print them without a copyright release. I stated the studio was long out of business and there was no way to get a copyright release. It didn't matter to them. I ended up printing the restored photos and they turned out fine.

I've had good results with Cyberlink PowerDirector. It is fairly easy to learn and has many useful features. It includes many transitions and motions to allow you to zoom in/out/tilt and pretty much whatever you need. The website includes free member-developed start pages and other goodies. I have an older version downloaded to my PC. I think the latest version is web-based with a monthly subscription. DVD versions might be available.

SharewareOnSale.com has many free programs. They have a free program called Black & White Projects 5. It is a free lifetime license, although no updates nor tech support, but who cares if it works. Might want to see if it meets your needs. I've downloaded several of their free programs and have had no issues.
