IQ goes down among other things.

Years ago a photographer for one of the now gone magazines got weird and put multiple extenders and extension tubes together with a lens so the result looked to be 3-4 feet long and the focal length went over 2000 mm. It took two tripods, one for the body and one for the lens to prevent bending and breaking. Then he took shots of a small hawk at some ridiculous distance. The results were barely OK, but if for say bird ID and not framing a picture it was just fine. And of course, no auto focus.

It seems that Amazon Returns have taken a turn for the worse.

I have four choices: bring it to UPS - a one hour round trip, bring it to a store in town - same distance, leave it at a UPS drop-off for $7.50, or have UPS pick it up for $13.50. It looks like they no longer send a label. UPS comes here at least once a week, so I would put the label on it and give it to the UPS driver.

EDIT: Looking again, there is an option to print a mailing label, but that just takes me to the address of the UPS store, with directions to bring it to the store.
