We don't have the generating capacity to charge the batteries on millions of cars and trucks. The wind turbines and solar power cannot make up for the loss since fossil fuel power plants that are being removed from service. The Green people just don't understand reality.
That is so cool. With cars like that I know I was born 50 years too late.
It is nice to see those two 57's. They are beautiful cars. In northern Indiana where I am from they were rust buckets due to winter road salts. Same for the 58's.
We had one when I was a kid. We fed it hamburger.
Remember that 90% of the iceberg is underwater.
I am in eastern Virginia. The trees are budding like crazy. Spring is coming!!!!
I am sorry to hear of your troubles. One thing that I have seen little of is where the electricity is coming from. I worked part of my career as structural engineer in the utility industry. Coal fired power plants are dying due to political pressure. Gas turbine power plants may run out of gas due to no fracking. Bad for the environment. This leaves windmills and solar. Solar is only good for a half a day on average, and then only if the sun shines. Windmills are OK when the wind blows, and you don't worry about all the dead birds that were killed by spinning blades. Most people believe that electricity comes from the slots in the wall. They don't know of the power plants, transmission lines, transformers, sub-stations, and all the things that go with electric power grid. As for me, I am sticking with my gasoline powered vehicle. By the way I can fill up in 10 minutes instead of hours on a battery charger.
Amazing animals. I love the picture of the collie. We have had three collies and one Shetland sheep dog (miniature collie). Love the collie breed. They are smart and all four dogs had wonderful but different personalities.
That car is drop dead gorgeous.
I will take the Piper any day. Used to fly a 140.
Loved the bridge picture being a structural engineer. I would place the era of that bridge about 1910 to 1920's. Earlier than that it most likely would have been pinned construction. The other pictures are very nice.
