I have this tripod with an Oben BE-126 ball head and find them more than adequate. Very good quality for the money.

These photos were taken at San Blas Islands while on a cruise through the Panama Canal January 2019. Taken with a Nikon D5200 18-55mm lens. The children would let you take their photo for $1. The main sales to the tourists by locals were the beautiful layered cotton squares known as Mola.
