THANK YOU. I guess my "fan base" is pretty small... Not many comments. Makes me wonder if it's worth my while.

But a lot of views and no critical replies so treat that as a positive Harry...

Yes~! For some reason, pictures I take with either phone wind up on Google, Amazon, or both. I've taken about two dozen cell phone pictures this year, and most of them were useless. I delete them right away.

I got my GB count down to 10, so I'm safe for a while. I'll post a lot of pictures for a group to see, but I don't have t leave them up forever. I just deleted most albums.

How about Google Drive? Some older phones put pictures in there too?

Plenty of humility here, mate, so don't quite know what you're on about. And nothing to do with my support of Bunko. tonnes comments were directed at me and personal - hence my response.

Then once again you are missing the point of my comment. JTs reaction (over reaction if you wish) was a direct result of Bunko's comment and your statement about 'a lot of sub standard stuff' being published on here, and then you supported Bunko...
And you wonder why an 80+ man is upset?

Listen to my own advice? Meaning what, exactly? The poster said, "We are waiting on your stuff". My response was, "it's already on there, I have contributed" And further, Tonnes response was, "If you can't contribute then there are other forums for you to haunt." Seriously? How pretentious. You clearly don't understand that, by its very definition, a "forum" is a platform on which views and ideas are exchanged. Have we become so narrow-minded (on here) that we only desire and accept positive feedback? You grow by all feedback, good or bad. And let me remind you, I did not make any negative comment regarding this post until the poster attacked me. Re read the link and you will see that you are missing the context entirely. This has nothing to do with trolling, as suggested in his consequent post. For goodness sake, lets man up here and have some sort of spine. Anyone who puts any form of artwork into a public forum should ( if mature enough) accept positive as well negative feedback and criticism. When I started in photography I actually craved less favourable reviews because that way I could correct the error of may ways and progress. My . . . how times have unfortunately and obviously changed! I guess your philosophy would be - unless you love my work, don't comment. Seriously?
Listen to my own advice? Meaning what, exactly? Th... (show quote)

I think that you need a reading lesson too. I did not comment on exchanges between you and him, merely to suggest that perhaps you should follow your own advice and exercise a bit of humility?

I cannot speak for JT but I guess he may have been upset by your support of Bunko rather then anything else.

PS I actually mentioned that your pictures are fine...

Yes, your pictures may be excellent but perhaps you ought to listen to your own advice before you pass judgement on others?

Dear Jim,
I feel privileged to have enjoyed seeing your memories and I'm really sad that the critics have brought you to this situation.
Whatever you decide, I just want to say "thank you".

Amazon Photos arranges by date. You can't change it. You could change a date, but what a pain that would be.

...and it's always oldest first in albums... Whereas you get a choice between date taken and date uploaded (newest appear first) in the main Amazon Photos section...
There's also still a bug in Amazon Photos in Windows 10/11 browsers that shows 'yesterdays' pictures as today... I have reported that to Amazon but... The Android and Apple Apps do not show this problem, reporting days correctly.

Interesting. Why aren't consecutive pictures arranged consecutively? Mine are totally random.

I guess it depends on which date it and you are looking at? Each picture contains EXIF information which may include, date originally taken, date modified, date scanned etc etc. You can only really work out what is happening by opening the "i" button and looking for yourself as you scroll through.
It's also possible that you have fallen foul of a bug in Google Photos, that seems to affect some albums but not others.

Yes, but it looks like you can't rearrange the pictures, as you can with Google. I find it odd that Google arranges the images randomly. I usually number them 01, 02, etc., but they are arranged randomly on the screen.

Both arrange by EXIF date though Google Photos does have slightly more options...

I don’t think it’s Amazon. I upload all my photos there, full size, 25+mb, have over 50,000 uploaded. The fact that I can’t rearrange them in an album is the most frustrating part of Amazon Photos, but I find it a very useful part of being Prime. Currently uploading 1,000+ from an Arctic trip.

You can create Albums in Amazon?

The pay grades for civilian astronaut candidates are set by federal government pay scales and vary based on academic achievements and experience. According to NASA , civilian astronaut salaries range from $104,898 to $161,141 per year. Less than a US Congressperson

Well in the interests of economy we could send Congresspersons, as most already have their heads in the clouds (so less propulsive thrust required), however the majority would probably 'find' a long unknown medical condition that prevents them doing anything dangerous...
