in Apple "Photos" app you change one incorrect time and date, and all selected images will be corrected. I'm sure other programs have the same option.

Use your Apple Photos app, select your photos, go to file and select > create> slideshow. Very simple.

Your ball head is removable. Buy a gear head of your choice and mounted.

If the group agrees on a group photo, you can use a flash with a long exposure, but the group can't move for the duration of the exposure. I attached a photo I took of my wife and me in Alaska.

I never tried Video for the Northern Lights, but I used an intervalometer with success. Settings are the same as you would use for single images with an interval of 2-5 seconds. Hopefully your tour leader gives you at least 1/2 hour in each location.

I use the airdrop feature on the iPhone and Mac. Works with iPhone to anybodies iPhone also. Great if you only want to transfer a few photos.

I use Geotag app on my iPhone, works great. Download the Geotag file to your computer, and all your photos will have the GPS coordinates included.
