I don't find these photos appealing. The first, no real color, too much haze and a not so good sky. The second lacks contrast [unlike Ansel Adams work] and a lot of the sky and water should be cropped out.

Good for you. Where is the Kindle on sale for $44.00? Is it refurbished? For that price I think I need a space one for the kitchen.

The guy that handed him the "cold" gun is at fault.

Once upon a time, long, long ago, I went to a thrift store to look for items that would be fun to use in my photographic endeavors. I was accompanied by a young lady with whom I had worked with photographically. She spotted a blouse of sorts and exclaimed that it would be a nice item "for pictures." I agreed. Price ( I remember this quite well ) was one dollar. It dawned on me while I was looking through my Archive of Olde that it would be a fun thing to find all of the images that included that top and post them. Here they are. Now before you waste your time complaining about fuzziness or poor this or substandard that or why did you do such and such, forget it. This is a post for fun. I will outright ignore any such comments. This is a collection that I hope you will enjoy. There, I said it :-)

I have traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway in the 1960's and 70's and I did not get any good photos. Most of the photos of it posted here are mediocre. Yours is about the best I have seen. I think it is difficult to photograph.

A few years ago I checked into a motel near there. There were several pix of Horseshoe Bend hanging on the walls so I asked if it was nearby. It was, so I went out there and hiked out to the viewpoint but the sun was setting. I was looking directly into the sun so got no good pix of it. I did, however, go back to the motel and took some shots of the pix hanging on the wall. i guess I have HSB checked off my bucket list.

Clever!
