Has this happened to anyone else?
I was changing my lens just prior to shooting an event and when I removed the lens I had attached to the camera I found that the focusing screen on my 5D mark ii had somehow dropped down and slipped out of its bracket.
It was the first time anything like this happened to me and I almost panicked.
I removed the dangling screen and switched to my backup camera for the event.
I have ordered a replacement due to getting the oils from my fingers on the original one while removing it from the camera body.
Has this happened to anyone else? br I was changin... (show quote)

I don’t see what is the problem is with how you wrote your question, it’s very clear. To answer your question. I have 5 canons and a lot of Nikons and never had this happen to me. I have changed many focus screens or removed them for cleaning. Could be it wasn’t fully locked in from the beginning. I think you were visited by Mr Murphy🙂

Older Adobe programs used 32 bit to start then you could use 32 or 64 bit to process. Windows and Apple upgrades both dropped 32 bit making older Adobe programs unable to start. I still have an old laptop with windows 7 and still running my older Adobe programs

My wife, son (pictured) and I took a ride up to Franconia and the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountains, a couple of weeks ago. The visibility was about 60 miles in all directions which only happens 2 or 3 times a month up there and from the top of Canon mountain, we could see as far as Maine, Canada, Vermont and New York. The White Mountains may not be the Rockies but a day like this gave us the feel of being in the Tetons.

Beautiful! Glad you and your family got a chance to experience it and enjoyed it. We go up there every year. Such a beautiful area. We stay in Littleton and drive all around. We have taken the Cannon tram also, it is a breathtaking ride. The White Mountain train is also very impressive. So much to see and enjoy in a small area.

Oath to the Nation
After over 50 years as a Permanent Resident (Green-Card holder), on September 2nd, 2021 I exchanged it for my American Citizen documents becoming an American Citizen and my first act as such I sent my Voter Registration in.

Congratulations! It makes me feel good when it is done the right way. It says a lot about your character.

I wonder if this could be the Lovejoy comet. The description kinda match? It was discovered 7 days after I took this picture. It would be kinda cool if I saw it first

Back in August 10, 2014 around 3:30 am, I was shooting the Meteor showers. It wasn’t a good night for them where I lived in Connecticut. So I shot a couple of stars and called it a night(morning). When I down loaded the next morning I found this picture. I’ve asked many people and no one could tell me what it was. I’ve been a member on UHH for many years but my old mind never thought to ask the experts in this field. I was hoping one of you might be able to explain this. Thank you in advance. Bruce Turpin

CSRM has a train that runs along the Sacramento river. The California Railroad Museum is a must, if you are in Old Town Sacramento.

They really have a beautiful museum. My last trip to Sacramento a few years ago in 2017, I took my Dad there. We really enjoyed it and the staff was great, He talked trains with them, which was his passion. He help start the Portola Train museum. Thanks for the post brought back some great memories

A interesting image taken after un-expected finding!

It is on my 9 years old all leather couches in my living room. With those abuse by us sitting on it everyday, it makes the surface of the leather becomes deformed and winkle a little bit. Yesterday, when sitting at the opposite side and I saw this image of a human head, wow, I didn't belief what I have seen. It is stunning because of the side lighting from outside the window with cloudy sky!

For ME, a good portrait lens is anywhere between 85mm to 135mm. I my self like the 105mm.
