I agree with MT Shooter. I have the Epson V600, and have scanned loads of 35mm, and medium format b&W and color films, as well as slides, with great results.

I agree with all comments posted to this point. I would like to add that you have a good eye for compositions.
Very nice compositions with level horizons. One photo with a road leading you into the scene, and one leading you in and back out.
Your status should go from volunteer to Professional.
I remember working arson fires, coming home black, and smelling like smoke, and etc.
Glad to have you on UHH. A lot can be done to enhance your granddaughter's photo in post production. However, your may just do a retake in different locations. Keep your subject further away from the background, which should cause the background to blur out. Keep Rick2236 suggestion on getting all of you subject in the picture. Happy shooting to you.
Sharp or soft focus aside, this is a cute kid, and a good shot. A verticle shot would have captured more of the childs head. Sometimes we are limited by space, and get what we get.
How can I not like this photo. I owned a "60" T-Bird years ago.
I like the second photo best of the three. I would like to have seen the same one without the sun glass technique.
I have been dealing with a sore Achilles tendon, so I can sympathise with what you are going through. Hope you get a speedy recovery.
Welcome! The photo's of the Eagle, and the flowers are impressive to me.
Cute, but I don't think cuddly.
I hope everybody feels better after the Venting.
