Sorry Scat, Anita hill was sexual harassment. This is sexuall assault. Just a small difference. Let’s keep in mind that BEFORE she came forward, she has taken a polygraph and passed with flying colors. After the denials under oath, will Kav take a poly??? I think not.
We expect a Supreme Court Justice to be impartial on the bench if he feels it’s ok to be stumbling drunk and to assault women?
I’m sure if Tramp and Kav were to form a line to grab PUSSY, you’d fight to be first in line to get a fresh hand?!?! LoL

Polygraph results are meaningless, as some can lie an still fool poly's results. Additionally, and most important, poly results are no longer allowed in evidence in a court proceedings. So, they are meaningless.

Took a drive here. For a long time I have wanted to try some landscapes of Oklahoma.. The beauty of this state is difficult; it lacks the high contrasts of strong elements that are in places like the American West. Also, so often the landscape elements seem to blend so subtly that I find them very difficult to capture. This preserve in northeast Oklahoma does provide a nice location for this effort though Any cc of these that might help me to capture this sort of landscape, or any insight into my weaknesses will be appreciated. Thank you for looking.

For incomparably beautiful pictures of prairie landscapes, try a computer search for www.southdakotamagazine.com, look at stunningly beautiful prairie pictures, including the wildhorse sanctuary, Black Hills, Custer State Park, etc.

Cold mornings but worth getting up.

Mornings and evenings are the best times for taking scenic pictures because the lighting is more colorful, and that affects the scenic objects.

And if one or more of those "beautiful creatures" attacked you or killed someone you cared about or maybe a pet ... or destroyed your property ... what would you do then? Grow up[/quote]

I'd never put myself or a pet in a situation where a bear...or any other wild animal...might kill me or the pet. I'd never blame the bear for my stupidity in encroaching on its territory. The common-law doesn't allow you to track down, then kill, a person who may have killed a member of your family, or a friend. So, why should a bear be killed under the same, or similar, circumstances..or just for the glory and thrill of killing, which most hunters possess.

Agreed!! In most cases, bears, especially brown (grizzly bears) are not hunted for their meat but hunted for sport and trophy.
To end the life of a beautiful creature just to brag that you killed one and display it, is just plain sick. And the trophy hunters always come up with an excuse why it is ok...like balancing out the ECO system......is pure BS!

A little girl leans into a lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, this under the eyes of her screaming parents.

A nearby biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back, letting go of the girl, and the biker brings the girl to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and bravest thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.’

The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really. The lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right.'

The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page. So, what do you do for a living, and what political affiliation do you have?'

The biker replies "I'm a U.S. Marine, a Republican and I v**ed for Trump".

The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads on the front page:

** U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT & STEALS HIS LUNCH. **

And THAT pretty much sums up the media's approach to the news these days...

Rudesheim am Rhein, known for winemaking, especially Reisling. In the center of town is the Drosselgasse , a lane lined with shops, taverns, restaurants, hotels and cafes. It is narrow and only 472 feet long but boasts visitors from all over the world enjoying music and wine and dancing all day and evening every day. It is arguably the best known street in Germany.

I would say "one of the best." And, been there; done that, vacationing in Europe through the '50s, '60s, and '70s several times with my post WWII (1948) German Bride. Drossel translates to thrush, a famous and beautiful song bird in German literature and poetry. Gasse is equivalent to an alley, vs a street or highway.

WWII, The Occupation of Germany, and the Korean War Vet says, Thanks for the memories.

A male northern cardinal perches on sumac at Big Sioux Recreation Area near Brandon, South Dakota. Cardinals are considered permanent residents, meaning they don’t migrate. They keep their bright plumes in winter to help advertise to the ladies what great mates they’d make.

Not my photo. Photo by Christian Begeman.

In basic training during WWII at Camp Fannin, TX, when we went on long hikes and overnight training maneuvers, we called the outdoor toilets slit trenches. A long trench was dug a couple feet deep, and to go to the "toilet" we straddled the trench and did our business. Unfortunately, toilet paper wasn't always handy so we used leaves from nearby bushes. I knew nothing about poisonous plants, and once I grabbed some leaves from a bush similar to poison ivy. WOW! did I regret that for several days a day or so later! I had to go to the Army's version of the ER for medicaton until I healed up.

Not dying in a prisoner of war camp is a terrible ordeal but not a heroic one.
He made his feelings for The President known so why isn't it OK for The President to make his feeling known?

I disagree that McCain was not a "heroic one." He was a hero during wartime. But, as a post-war person, and as a politician, he was a "loose cannon" politically and personally.

In the days of sail, naval vessels mounted cannon carefully and purposefully r****d into positions starboard and port which optimised the effect of their fire. Occasionally, the rigging of these very heavy guns might come loose, and with the vessel pitching about on high seas or during manuever in battle, the cannons came loose, pointing in the wrong direction, and the results for the ship and crew could prove catastrophic.

What is it with Trumpanzees and the 'M' word?

"monkey this up" is an old old expression having absolutely NOTHING to do with r****m in the least. I'm an old old guy, and through all my long life I've used the expression thousands of times without meaning anything to do with b****s. It's similar to "bollix things up," "bungle things up," "messin' things up," or "screw things up." These days someone could get very angry about the expression "screw things up," claiming it has something to do with sexual intercourse, but it doesn't mean that at all.

This black fellow, and his liberal backers, is using the expression hoping to garner some pity and v**es. Makin' a mountain out of a molehill, to use an old expression.
