From the return of his WH f**g to full staff to his
condescending tweet to McCain's family Trump has
delivered an insult to a great war hero and statesman.

Trump isn't half the man of John McCain. He couldn't
be. Trump is 100% ASSHOLE.

Beware the south end of horse headed north. McCain had it right: George W. Bush and Barack Obama as eulogists. Trump asked not to come to funeral.

Not dying in a prisoner of war camp is a terrible ordeal but not a heroic one.
He made his feelings for The President known so why isn't it OK for The President to make his feeling known?

Good question...and for all of his faults he is doing a relatively good job for the country and having to fight the liberals and republicans for every inch. I won't dis-respect McCain but I wish he had retired years ago. And for all of the bellyaching that the liberals do about trump being elected what did they give us to v**e for? Slick hillie who by now would have put all our national treasure into her personal bank account and then taken a hammer to her computer! What a piece of trash that woman is and she still wants to run...she should be in prison if the Republicans had any nads!

You are aware that McCain finished 894 out of 898 students at the naval academy. His dad was a admiral McCain was was brought up a rich kid. Who was put to the top of the list. He crashed 2 training jets and started an aircraft carrier fire was shot down over Hanoi for disobeying orders and flew to low. His captures nick named him songbird because he would tell them information. He also had affairs on his first wife. Look this information up on the internet you will find his fellow pilots thought he was incompetent. Just sayin!

Not a heroic one???----he passed on the opportunity to get out a/c his family name and elected to stay with his brothers----What do YOU know about life in a prison camp and heroics. Donald Trump was DRAFT DODGER, or in clearer terms, a COWARD!!???

Ok all you Trumpies out there, keep drinking the Koolaid.
For the draft dodger to make any kind of statement about the Senator is real ballsy.
That president of ours is nothing more than a loudmouth. Take his I-phone away and he will be speachless. So now I feel better. All take a big breath and have a good day

While I would still v**e for Trump over Hillary and I have never had any love for John McCain I think Trump is behaving like a little spoiled kid and a real asshole over John McCain’s death. Total disrespect. Will he never learn he doesn’t have to say anything. I am very rapidly losing any respect I had for him as a person. I just hope that in the next P**********l e******n we have better choices.

I was not knowing these tidbits of information. I have no idea if they are fact or not but I'll take your word for it until someone else shows me some other proof this is incorrect.

As far as CPR's statement, this is a little brash, but not incorrect. To survive as a POW doesn't get a medal of honor these days. But it does get McCain a Purple Heart since his legs were broken as a result of the crash. But I do think he deserved some kind of medal for not going home when he could have and instead he said he wouldn't leave his men behind so he stayed at the Hanoi Hilton. That part was fairly heroic - but not worthy of a medal of honor. For McCain to turn on the Senate with thumbs down made him a small man for having his feelings hurt by Trump. That's all I think this was to McCain - personal. He shouldn't let personal feelings get in the way of his duty to his party. He should have retired years ago.

One more thing, I think that all people who serve are heros. But not in the sense that they all deserve a medal of honor. Just in the sense that they gave so much for so little for our country.
