One of my departed uncles said’ men shouldn’t try to understand women. Women understand women, and they don’t like ‘em.

As The Charlie Brown Christmas movie says, that’s what Christmas is all about. So thankful for redemption. Eph. 2: 8&9.

My greatest problem with phone cameras is that the vast majority of users are all too happy with most any image they get. No thought of problems with back lighting sans fill flash, and certainly they have no time or thought of editing the capture. The goal is just to quickly post to Facebook etc., and then eventually delete them. These are the descendants of instamatic users who clicked away in stadiums and then thrilled at any image that resulted no matter how tiny and poor.

I especially appreciate number 27. “Sorry” is used insincerely in too many interactions. Almost as irritating to hear as the use of “like”.

Check out this wild architecture on their website. I've wanted to photograph this for some time, and I think it would be most interesting during the late afternoon or night time.

I have a monopod with a foot that moves ( Benro C48F). Therefore, I don't need a head and I still have stability.

I did two weddings. The first resulted in some nice pics. I provided proofs which were well received. I was told the couple were thinking about an order, but never heard from them again. I was out the cost of the film and professional processing ( this was in the film days). As it happens, I was told the marriage didn’t last long.
My second was a garden wedding for my sister. Her marriage didn’t last too long either. The tension involved in shooting a wedding without assistance and the unfortunate track record of these couples has made me avoid the prospects since then. I know now that the best course for wedding photographers is a contract and out of pocket expenses bucks up front.
