I hate paying monthly but love the new features. I cannot imagine being without them. I do not use every new feature but each major release has something I appreciate and use. My results get better all the time.

You both are having way too much fun here...

Carley has fabulous skin tone and epic auburn tresses...
Thank you for sharing Wayne...

The question is how she got that skin tone.

OK! It's a sharp rendition of the graphics on the can and you have negated any distracting reflections. If it is an antique can (interesting), however, I can't see the shape of the can, the top, and any other interest as in a kinda still life potential.

A bit more space, side lighting, and a bit more color or tonal mass in the background would make a more interesting shot. If your focal length is too long, it tends to flatten out the dimensionality of the can.

Agreed. I would also make the labeling lighter so the name pops.

I like the dreamy look though I think the flower itself should be sharper. Overall, very effective.

Very nicely done. Certainly one of the better bird posts. Two suggestions: bring out the whites a wee tad more and get rid of that drip. Thanks for posting.

No need for PS. LR works like a charm. Read previous post on how to do. Squeezing it together for the cover makes no sense at all.

If you’re in Lightroom (or Camera Raw in Ps), use a combination of Saturation and Luminosity sliders, that way you will get the brightness where you want it and keep it colourful if that’s your desire.

This is what I have done first. Usually works like a charm.

Try cropping so that the horizon is about a third from the top and then again with it about a third from the bottom. Either has a big effect on how you react to this scene.

I have been admiring all these posts for the gorgeous blues and whites. You have such clean air up there and it makes a big difference in your pictures. I do not always like the compositions but I sure like the colors and sharpness. Thanks for posting.

Like the previously posted shot, I find the background terribly distracting. The stop action is neat but its beauty is lost in all that clutter. Suggestions: make downloadable so we can appreciate the capture and crop tighter.

Bob, make this easy on yourself. Call Adobe. Good luck and please post the solution.

PS I did not have this problem.

I had no problem whatsoever. It may have updated it but since it went smoothly, I simply do not remember. The latest version represents another nice advance in LR. The AI selection tool is great.

In all the times I have seen that remark, the poster has never said that the lens was ever calibrated. Just because he thinks his pictures are sharp, he does not know if they could be sharper. For him, good is good enough. I wish people would stop posting untested claims.

Save your time and money. I have tried to calibrate my lenses in all kinds of cheap ways just to waste an immense amount of time. I use FoCal now. Absolutely worth the $.
