Went to the Good Guys last month with my grandson and my son all by accident. I was actually in the process of taking my wife to my daughters for a baby shower for our granddaughter. My wife had taken along her Nikon Coolpix P1 for some pics of the shower. While on the way my grandson called and asked if I would like to go to the Good Guys car show. So I said sure and my wife said "here take my camera and get some pictures!" All by accident.

Welcome, Snake. You didn't step on one up there did you? I have snakes in my back yard, Matthews NC. I just joined myself today 12/30/16 I'm not even an amature yet but here I am trying to learn something new and exciting in my retirement years. Oh yeh! I have the same camera too! Good one. I'm new here although i've been reading some of the posts. I'm learning! Got a new Canon Rebel t3i a couple of years ago and have been trying to learn all the tricks and technics used to create some of the great photos I've seen here and else where. I'm retired from The General, hence the user name. I like old cars especially Chevys and like photographing them. I'm just beginning to take pictures of things rather than family gatherings, which becomes rather boring. I inherited my grand fathers old photos and in them there were alot of pictures that tell a story This is one of the things that has inspired me to take photos and I hope to be able to do that also for some one, some day! Also have had a couple of other interests one being digitizing and restoring the sound quality of my old record collection. And the other was working on cars, not any more for that one it's too expensive and I.m getting too old for that. But I do like looking at them. That's it for now.
