Nothing to critique as far as I am concerned. Good shot.

I like it! Neat face-on perspective and uncluttered surroundings. Must have been quite a thrill to see this handsome animal :)

You might have intended to put this in the critique section - names are similar.

Here are the guidelines for posting in analysis:

Thanks Linda. Yes, did intend for it to go to the critique section.

Great shot what type of fox is that?

Thanks. S/he is a gray fox. First one I've seen in my backyard. See red foxes on occasion.

Nice pictures Erv. I wonder if Purple Finches are prone to eye problems. In the last year I have seen at least three with missing or diseased eyes.

This beauty was a visitor to the backyard this morning. First gray fox I have seen in the backyard!

I am so fortunate to have a feew Eastern Bluebirds hanging out around my house! Hoping if I keep them happy with mealworms they will stick around.

10, I'm sure many use the method that you describe. I think one would wind up not having something they need, way too often. At least I would. My bag has everything I need always in it, except tripod and bigger lenses. But then again, I probably just don't have much.

SharpShooter, I'm sure that will happen to me too and might be frustrated a few times. I already get frustrated when I have to look in multiple places/bags for a piece of gear so I guess it will be a trade off!

Cinnamon teals. Male redheaded ducks have grayish backs and sides.

My vote is Cooper's. The pattern and coloration of the chest feathers are what I am basing my vote on. Size is too big for Sharp shinned in my option.
