Oops, I think I may see the problem. My original "quote reply" quoted the wrong person. I was responding to the original post. My mistake. Rooky error.

I am not the OP. I am taking what I stated. The same kit that I used in Japan last year. I do not need reommendations to purchase a new camera. I think you lost track of the conversation.

I do sincerely apologize if my reply offended you. As I stated at the start of my offending reply, "I can't answer your question as you asked it." I have no knowledge of the lenses you were inquiring about. I simply offered a description of how I solved the problem when I visited the same area, at the same time of year last year. I did state my experience with the lens I found to be most useful.
Once again, I apologize.

I'm going in October and I will be carrying a 24-70 f/4 and a 70-200mm f/4. Two lenses each on its own body.

I can't really answer your question as you asked it. What I can do is suggest something else for your consideration. I made the same trip last November. I am so glad that I had that opportunity. Never been before, and because of age and other considerations will probably not get a second opportunity.
If I were one of the young guys (50-60years), I would have been happy carrying my Canon 7D Mark II, but due to my age (84) I was concerned about carrying the weight of that body plus two heavy lenses all day, every day. Remember, there is no level ground in Israel on which to walk very far.
Given the cost of the trip of a lifetime, I decided to spend a bit more for a camera that would meet my needs without breaking the bank. I purchased a Canon M50 (mirrorless) in a kit with a 15-45mm and a 55-200mm lenses. What a difference in weight. 95% of my images were captured wit the 15-45. I used a shoulder sling and was never bothered by the weight.
The resulting images captured were very acceptable. I have on enlarged to 16-20, framed an hanging on a wall in my home. I consider it to be among the very best images I have ever captured.

It is inexcusable that camera companies don't give Adobe and others the info they need to open raw files. No camera comes with decent software. Nikon is particularly bad.

Adobe does have the information from Canon. I use both LR and PS on the subscription plan and have been able to open the CR3's for some time now. Also, LR will import CR3's as Raw files if you set the import page to do so.

I don’t care about “doing the math” I also don’t care to get anything “for free”.. I don’t wish to brag, but the cost of any pp doesn’t concern me. I dare say(being in the top 5% income bracket) money or cost was never an issue. So many here make wild assumptions as to my interests. I am happy to tweek my photos/images, but I prefer that most of the MAGIC that is my picture, comes from the choice of my shooting and the lens & camera I choose, NOT manipulations I can do with my computer and a program. Why not just sit in front of the computer and just manipulate pixels? The more you mess with it, the less the art of it. Just my UNHUMBLE opinion. What little manipulating I do is done with the MAC Iphoto app. But, if there was a great big benefit to some OTHERapp ...I’m buyin, not renting.

For art, check out Ansel Adams. Yes, his art started before he tripped the shutter. He gave careful attention to proper exposure, composition and light. But, the art continued to be refined in the dark room. His image, "Moonrise Over Hernandez," was actually exposed in his camera while the sun was still shinning. The "night time" image is a result of skillful work in the darkroom. As Ansel said, The negative is the musical score; the print is the performance. To each, his own vision.

Just a note of clarification. If you are referring to the Adobe Photographers package of LR, PS Br., etc., you do not pay a purchase price plus monthly renewal fees. There is no initial purchase price. You rent the package on a monthly contract of $9.99. You can cancel at any time. Years ago, when I first started using PS I paid about (can't remember exactly) $600. Every two or three years, if I wanted to stay up to date, I sent another $200-$300 to purchase the update. I like the rental program much better.

this is a two question statement: considering buy a photo printer the Canon Pixma pro 100 first I would like to know if it is hard to connect 2 printers to the same wifi network wirelessly the second question is how to keep ink from drying out & nozzles from clogging up if not in use for an extended period of time ?

I have two printers connected to my computer through Wi-Fi. No problems. As for ink drying, I always use Epson ink purchased from Epson on my two Epson printers and never have problems with dried ink (Clogs). One printer is used for my every day family printing and always stays on. The other, the XP 15000, I use for 13X19 photo prints and turn off after each use.

I've been interested on the Df for sometimes now, but the main thing that have been putting me off the purchase it's the 16 MP sensor, and wasn't sure if the ergonomics were kind of right for me. So I just got a rental to try it out, and I can say that I really love this camera's ergonomics and low light capabilities.

Now I only have one question nagging me: is 16 MP sufficient for prints in the 30 X 25 or about?
I would like to get some input in order for me to see if I take the plunge and buy it. Thanks.

Over 15 years ago, as a Wedding and Portrait photographer, I decided it was time to switch from film to digital. What convinced me? I started seeing at PPA conventions, comparative 30X40 prints with one image captured on film and one captured on digital. The digital was sharper. The best digitals, back then were in the 8MP range. 16MP should be fine.

I like to print FULL OUT (2X3). So my prints are 4X6, 8X12, 16X24, and 20X30. So, for me, my largest size on your paper would be 8X12.

I usually print to 12X18 (2X3) on 13X19 paper. This leaves a nice even 1/2 inch border all around. Why would you limit yourself to 8X12?

I have been to and photographed in all the lower 48 states and 75% of the National Parks and associated mountain ranges. I live in Florida on the Gulf Coast and have plenty of sand and surf available. Are there any compelling reasons or suggestions that I should know that might convince me to go to Hawaii. I have to travel alone now, so I would be unaccompanied. Any ideas to share? Thanks.

YES! By all means, go. I, too, live in Florida (east coast.) and have visited Hawaii three or four times. Each island has it's own charm. My last visit was to the "big island." Hard to beat an active volcano, lush vegetation, Rugged mountains, and spectacular waterfalls. Each side of the island is different.

I made the trip to Israel last November. (Sorry that some will respond to your term "Holy Land" in order to turn your post into a political argument.) What a trip of a lifetime. Take the first two lenses you mentioned.
I purchased the Canon M50 for my trip in order to save weight and used the kit lens 15-45 mm 3.5-6.3 for 99% of my photos. I never used flash. I was with a large group and had to move with it. Little time to decide how I wanted to set up my shot. Little time to be changing lenses. With camera set on Aperture priority and auto ISO I got very good exposures in very low light. Have a great trip.
