I think the good videos on youtube
by knowledgable shooters help more then a manual.
Some report the settings for each need. Some get you ready to shoot and
have some editorial. I broke out of Sony Black Friday and bought the
fuji X-T3. With a 18 to 55mm quality lens. Their is a new XT-4 but the
3 seemed to better to start with. Insights about problems and issues
were in the videos. They explained that Fuji makes a model and keeps
on improving it. I never got through a manual. Read the startup
stuff then lookup as I try shooting issues of interest.

That's the best way to do it: sell one system and buy another.

Thank you Jerry. I was reviewing my Sony camera's and the first NEX 5 got me to drop Nikon.
I have the a6000 but when I bought the a6300 I was startled how good the stills and video were.
Might keep the Sony FF a7s II with the zeiss 55mm lens. Not sure. Probably sell easily.
I have the RX100 4 and the RX10 24 600mm bridge.
I must say Sony did a great job with their lineup. The camera's are great. And
they led the charge for mirrorless and video off of DSLR type style camera's.
My researching led me to believe that a good smaller camera can make
images the same or very close to the big guys.
Thanks Tom

Went rogue selling some of my good Sony cameras lens etc and bought a Fuji XT3 with lens a
Black Friday deal. A photographer from San Francisco wrote an extensive article about his work
with aps-c camera's and his work is outstanding. He resisted larger gear and has been very successful.
I have Full frame and bridge and small like the RX100 4. But was intrigued by the Fuji camera's.
I don't want to identify him so he won't get a lot of crazy online stuff like Ken Rockwell gets.

Roku is very good, but I also have the Amazon stick. One or the other will stop working, and I can switch. My TV also loses the Internet connection occasionally; the speed is too low; or, "Something is wrong."

As long as Spectrum gets their monthly payment, they don't care what problems I have.

My son Jerry came in from FL and was working for a week with our wifi. He is said the wifi
is the best he has every had in his homes. It is the future and now streaming. The picture we
are getting with no wires to the TV is outstanding for movies that are high quality.
Insist on the lates modem (router).
I now live back in suburbs of Philly Main Line.

I started with Roku a few months ago. Bought a 40 inch or so TV for $170. We had a very nice
50" Vizio TV that is very good. Honestly with my eyes on my own video and following films
and some of the wonderful shows on now the Roku image seemed a bit superior to Vizo.
We moved into 2nd house at my daughters house and had Comcast Infinity for a long.
It was very hard to get an install of cable with Covid. Got help with finding the cable
line (which is underground) with the helpful of a Comcast tech. Comcast wants us to
install for them at home. I am good but their service and routers are a mess.
We installed their newest modem and it is outstanding. The service guy said you
know Tom this is all you need. I tried using the 2 boxes I had for other TV's
and they were flaky. I went streaming with their modem and the signal is
astounding going to two TV's. A third with just Netflix upstairs.
The reason I use Comcast the are a pain their wiring cable where we live
is the only real choice. You can put Comcast on your Roku. Just select it
from one of the boxes on Roku use your pass world and connect with Xfinity in the box
and you are ready to go. My wife hated the Roku interface but I set her
up with her favorite shows on the Roku Screen. Roku will set you up
with anything and tell you the cheapest way to connect. Most people
say they are using Roku TV's. They don't have some features yet
like voice on the remote (new TV's do). We will be streaming and
not need comcast soon but for my work and communications their
wifi where I am is amazing.

Great shots. As a Art Director and a producer now in my later years I admire
the composition as just perfect. And with the hyper colors and forced contrast
these images are a joy to see.

Interesting post. Relief from the Nikon, Canon, Sony wars. They all make beautiful cameras.
"No problem" is probably the result of our world right now.

I was taught and have been a big "thank you" person which I mean sincerely.
The grounds on my daughters house where my wife are living in the Annex house behind hers
have a lot of services. Fall cleanup gave a couple of the latin workers a modest tip. And
some of the others bottles of water.
When we stop calling Latin men rapists and not treating them like the good people they
are "thank you" means a lot.

Very sad about Nikon. Their cameras was so well manufactured and always worked.
The Sony, Canon, Nikon debating is tiring. They are all great cameras and camcorders.
No. 1 Sony marketed great mirrorless camera's in the last years. And they are very
good at video. My a7 and a7s II convinced me they had the goods. Complaints
about their directory being sloppy were right. But we could put a a7 next to a
Sony 8k pro camcorder and the a7 was the second camera. The NEX line
draw me into Sony. The a7 was a revolution.
And lastly smart cell phones are to easy and OK for some imagery.
My daughter has a successful business and her social networking
power is mostly on her latest iphone. Her social pro company comes
in with Sony A7 III. This is just the way it is. Good luck.

I have used them for years. The most reliable gear company. Bought a Sony
video deck from them 6k years ago. Many cameras. Used to go to B&H.often.
A gentlemen fixed me up with audio gear for shooting etc spent a lot of time
with me and wanted to keep my costs down. Turns out he did me a favor
good mics etc but not too expensive.
A seller told me dont buy this camera the cheaper video camera is a good
or better. Don't waste your money.
They are the most reliable in the country. And give very good reviews
and advice. So folks might not be used to very religious jews or own
and run the store and mail business. They are lively and fun to deal
with. After all it is NY. Good luck.

Christy welcome to this wild and crazy lovable group.

Read a photography story about a young lady who was making her
mark with her amazing visuals. Very talented. And she was asked
how to increase careers and advance their work at a seminar.

She said: JUST SHOOT!!!!!

PS DON'T LET OTHER WORK YOU ADMIRE INTIMIDATE YOU.
SUGGEST YOUTUBE PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO HAVE GREAT INFORMATION
TO HELP YOU LIFT YOUR SKILLSET. BUT DO WHAT YOU WANT.
SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS ITS EARLY. GOOD LUCK!

I believe you have wonderful Nikon Lens and Tamron covering most situations
The nifty fifty is a good lens. But these days their are many good choices
in primes to do new work. Things tend to lean a little more to wide angle
lens. A 16mm for a group shot. My video camera has a 24mm base and it
is really necessary. I have Sony equipment my Sony a7s II is an amazing
camera. Paired with the zeiss 55mm I highly thought of creative lens.
Frankly I dont get to use it much.
As a former post you might want more low light capability.
I owned a audio visual company years ago slides and sound
shows for corps. We had used Nikons with a Nikon 35mm lens for
all of our visuals. Just some thinking ideas. Good luck.
