It's a very good photo. I prefer the original. (But you might wish to process out the apparent white paint stain on the near right side of the brickwork sidewalk.)

I used HP printers and used aftermarket ink cartridges very successfully for several years, then noted the printers began failing after a few months use. The aftermarket ink stores and most users in this area believed that HP was sabotaging their own products when sensing an aftermarket cartridge. I am not sure what the outcome of this was, but I stopped buying HP printers because of their high "failure" rate, and went to Canon. After a couple of years and several printers, Canon began failing too. The problem there was, apparently Canon began installing a chip in their cartridges. If the user tried an aftermarket cartridge, one without the chip, the printer failed. It didn't take long for aftermarket manufacturers to install their own chips in their cartridges, and these have worked very well for me and all the Canon users I know in this area. There are many brands of aftermarket chips, and you will see that many now advertise that their products include the chip. Just be sure your provider's cartridge includes the dastardly chip. You don't hear as much about HP products these days, at least not in Houston, Texas.

It seems clear that, so far, printer manufacturers are practically giving away their products and trying to force the buyers to use their overpriced ink. Who knows what they will try next? Ah life; Ah love; Ah secret products and dirty deals. It's a shame it has to be this way.

Chase and the rest of the majors have a lot to answer for. At .01% interest, you are actually losing money at a rate equal to inflation... or, in other words you are receiving negative interest. If you really want to be annoyed, review the interest rates (particularly on credit cards) they will charge you for money. It was a big mistake eight or nine years ago when our government bailed those (expletive deleted) out.

My favorite walk-around is an old Model D Leica, with a terrible looking 50mm f3.5 Elmar lens -- which takes some of the sharpest photos I have ever seen. (Take a look at my Icon) Even though it is my favorite, I don't tote it as much as I should, because it is not metered, no flash, slow speeds (1/500), and keeps me on my toes. To me it is real photography, but I suppose that's the geezer in me talking. I am 84 now, and still love to hear the quiet "snick" of its shutter, and to feel the slight resistance when rapid winding (using my right index finger), and sometimes inventing answers to questions from the digital crowd. Lucky you! The Ticos (Costa Ricans) are always polite, friendly and helpful. My last visit to Costa Rica was more than 60 years ago, but I think the following might still apply.

San Jose is the capitol city. You might also want to visit Cartago(sp), in the central part of the country and a former capitol; Limon, the major city on the East coast; or perhaps Punta Arenas, on the west coast.

Cartago has a lot of history and a beautiful cathedral, and is near some of the Volcano country. Limon has beautiful water, and is just South of the Rio Blanco, which winds through dense forests where you will see monkeys, sloths, quetzal birds, Parrots and McCaws, and a host of other fauna, large and small. Creeks connecting to Rio Blanco feature giant Iguanas, some exceeding six feet in length, but harmless if left alone. Punta Arenas is near what has become a favorite region for surfers. In the central area, I hope the virgin rainforests are still there, beautiful, untouched and rife with Flora and Fauna. Nearby, I think to the North, is the Sierra Del Muerto, a beautiful mountain range, also untouched, I hope.

San Jose is located about midway between Limon and Punta Arenas, and is home base for the nation's two railroads, one running from San Jose to Limon (The Northern Railroad, or Ferrocarryil de Norteamericana; which is narrow gauge and travels through some of the roughest (and most beautiful) scenery I have ever witnessed. The other line runs West from San Jose to Punta Arenas, and is standard gauge.

Costa Rica has three active major volcanos I recall: Poaz, Turrialba, and Irazu. Poaz was the least active and located in an area of Coffee Finkas and sugar cane plantations; both really worth seeing. The other two are located fairly near to each other, in the central mountain area. Another volcano has appeared in Coast Rica, during the last ten years or so; photos I have seen of it are extremely impressive.

Everywhere you go in Costa Rica is beautiful. Being close to the Equator, year-round temps are 70's daytime and 60's at night. The is very stable. Immigration is relatively easy and cost of living is very favorable, I understand.

Have a great trip, and watch out for the Guaro (a very strong, surprising, formidible liquor distilled from Plantanoes, a sort of bananas........... Mercer

I tried it and the installation failed; and in failing it led to a myriad of problems with W10 after I was able to get rid of the "update." I hope others have had a better experience. Maybe the successful upgraders will pass along some upgrade help to the rest of us.

Meanwhile, my distrust of Microsoft, which began with NX or something like that, years ago; when they shoved that damned registry system down our throats, claiming it is superior to the extremely stable directory-based system which served us so well for so many years; continues to increase as upgrade after upgrade rolls in.

Wishful thinking...Hello Mac, and Goodbye Microsoft. But I am not sure things would be better at Apple. Sorry about the rant. If you've read this far, thanks.

Nikon P500 or P510... both good solid bridges, costing now from $125 to $300 from companies like KEH; or you can check the manufacturers' refurb sites. If you have some extra money, you can get a Nikon P900 for around $600. My personal favorite is the good 'ole Canon SX50, slightly larger than the 500 series Nikons, but superior in just about every way. Bear in mind, these are personal opinions. Good luck, and best regards to the Mrs., Mercer.

The first one and I don't know why, other than, for me, it contains drama and looks like a more interesting story. Both show real skill.

I have heard the low pants originated in prisons (where belts are often not allowed), and when found out of prisons low pants indicate a familiarity with prison.
