Very impressed with you work until now. Here's hoping you can produce more.

I agree with minniev, but a caveat or two. My wife and I were in Banff last year. Lake Louise was so crowded that they wanted you to park remotely and take a shuttle. Turns out you had to go online to buy a shuttle ticket, but there was no service in the parking lot where the shuttle picked up. Similar experience at Moraine Lake, where the somewhat limited parking was full and nowhere else to park. You either get to those locations early, or you may not get there, depending on when you go.

This year there will only be shuttle available to Moraine Lake. According to my friends in Tourism Alberta Banff got totally overrun once the town sign got updated to a large all carved wooden structure that is easy to climb on and social media has 10's of thousands of selfies with that content.

All I can say is it's a good thing you have a head start. When I try to introduce a new club member to PS they shake their head soon enough and end up buying Affinity or Luminar.

Don’t be quick to jump on the mirrorless wagon. Remember, it is in motion and you could fall off and bump your head.
For many years, I would use film. I love it no matter what. It is a great standby and keeps me from getting lazy. When digital was the way to go, I picked up a brand new Canon EOS Rebel 2000. While everyone tried to convince me dSLR was the newest wave, I held on tight and didn’t let go. Then in 2012 I earned some overtime pay. I banked it for a 5D Mark II. Now I have a Mark IV. I have an interest in mirrorless but I’ll wait a few more years. I am not quick to jump on the wagon. Not just yet.

Every now and then I dust off my film camera and take it out for a roll.

When people tell me film is dead, I tel them no it isn’t. It just smells funny!

Paul Sager, I am a crotchety old coot from Brooklyn. Not a hipster!

My Nikon D7000 had over 140,000 shutter releases so I bought a Nikon D7500. I have a mirrorless Sony A6000, but I hate having to constantly turn it back on and carrying 5 spare batteries, because that camera eats them alive. It is light weight though.

I too own the Sony A6000 and unlike you take one spare battery for a shoot or 2 if I'm going for the whole day to multiple locations. In the later case only when it is a cold winter day do I get to use the 3rd battery.
One setting I know helps to save juice? Under custom settings, The gear icon, set the pre- AF to off. It is the first setting on the 3rd column.
I don't use any of the wireless features either. I have a fellow user who bought off brand batteries and we did a test and he found out the old adage, you get what you pay for.
Hope this helps.

The Snocoach you might like to know hs since rolled over killing and maiming many of the occupants. Needless to say it is no longer operating and the law suit continues.
Operator came too close to the edge and it slid off the snow road and rolled multiple times.
