Really nice set. I don't know what the surrounding area is like in terms of poverty, but it is so nice to see young kids who are well nourished and healthy, in many places due to school feeding programs.

Very nice set! I remember the mule deer up there. Many decades ago a college classmate and I camped out up on the plateau in what at that time was a National Monument. We had arrived late - the station down on the highway was closed and we were running on fumes. Just as we drove out of the gate in the morning we ran out of gas. We coasted the whole ten miles down off the plateau without gas (and without power steering - fortunately it was all downhill so I could apply the non-powered brakes as needed) and coasted into the filling station at the bottom. The attendant walked out of the office and said: "Gee- I didn't hear you drive in".... It was a memorable trip in many ways. We drove all through the Rockies, decided not to camp out in Big Thompson Canyon (that was the night of the horrendous flash flood that killed 120 people), and finally when pulling into Colorado Springs, right at the corner with an auto repair shop on it, the radiator hose exploded... We were very blessed on that trip!

Very nice set. Various family members have taught at, or been students at, West Point. It is sometimes hard to appreciate how pretty the area just 40 miles north of NYC can be!

I love the fact that they often tell you that their name is something very American or British-sounding. I had one guy tell me that his name was Sean - in English that I could barely comprehend. I felt like saying "well, top o' the mornin' to ya, Sean".

FedEx has damaged packages that it delivered to me, has delivered my packages to wrong addresses, has left my packages on my walkway in the rain rather than walk the additional eight feet to place them under cover at my door and has dropped an expensive computer at my door; we heard the crash and my dogs started barking. When I was in business, I instructed my suppliers not to ship items to me via FedEx.

About a year ago I was chatting with one of my patients who was a FEDEX driver. I was surprised when he told me that FEDEX drivers (and I assume this is true but have not "independently verified it") are contract employees - they get no benefits, have to pay the whole self-employed tax, etc.. He told me that most were unhappy and always had applications in at UPS. Maybe that explains a few things!

It is a nice image - but do you really want a photo of fog/rain/drizzle/pigeons/gloom/depression for your "season's greetings" card? I would be pretty bummed out - and maybe a little worried - if I received this image on a season's greetings card....

I had to order a part for a GE refrigerator-freezer recently. Inside the unit is a QR code, which, when scanned, gets you the model number and a parts list. I called their service department to confirm the part number that I needed, and was answered immediately by a very pleasant English-speaking woman. Not only was she very helpful, but GE offered the part at the same price as the cheapest Amazon alternative, with free shipping AND 10% off! Very impressed.
