Maybe he sold it to someone around him and forgot to unlist it. Then after your purchase he clicks cancel and Amazon notifies you.

Costco is very good but you need to be a member. Snapfish is a good mail order place. For film I use Walgreens they are the best I found around me for film unless I want to send them to some crazy high dollar pro lab. Costco is very cheap for large prints. A 20x30 is $9, that is about a third the price of most other places

The biggest problem I have found with rebate offers is, sometimes they insist on the store filling out the papers too - there has to be a store stamp or something. If you get something online, that often doesn't get done...

With the reputation of B&H, I would not expect you to have any problems. If I had the money, I would be really tempted myself...

I've done 4 or 5 rebates and never from a store and always online like B&H etc, never a problem

Good deal, but be very careful filling out the rebate form. One tiny mistake and they will deny the rebate. That is what they hope for.

I'm about to buy a new camera, and I've narrowed the choices, I think, to the Canon T3i and the SL1. I don't see much difference other than a $50 price difference. Both have 18-55 and 70-300 lenses with them. I know the SL1 is small, but I don't have a problem w/ that. Any thoughts?

The SL1 makes a nice small package with the 40mm lens

The SL1 is newer and it is mirrorless.

Cutting edge technology too, whereas the T3i is a few years old.

I'd by the SL1....

Not mirrorless, you need the EOS-M for that

Love my digital cameras but still can't resist loading some B&W in my F5,F4,F100 or N90s. I develop myself and scan for prints. Some times the old way is fun.

I have made 20x30 posters from 12mp cameras that looked great but having 18mp comes in handy if you crop much.

I would go with the D3200. Some one came to my house to buy a Nikon lens from me and he had a D3200 which he liked a lot. I thought it looked well made for an entry type camera.

I was a fan of refurbished cameras until I got my D7100. It had 1250 clicks on it, not happy about that. Other then that it looked new. I'm thinking of getting a refurbished D800 but because of that it has to be a lot cheaper then the list price. As the prices stand for the D800 being only $400 less for a refurb I hesitate.

I ordered from them before, no problems. I have a lens on the way from them now.
