Thank you Sue, those were delightful! I have a friend who gets swarms of them but I can never get more than one at a time as they chase each other off. I know they are protecting their nectar spot but I'd love it if they'd share! LOL!

Seven pools is also quite stunning, I believe it is on the Road to Hana. We took the time to take a dip in one of the pools, it was lovely.
Honolua Bay is always beautiful and very picturesque, it is also a fun place to snorkel, lots to see there.
Molokini crater is a wonderful sight you can take a boat tour to or you can take a snorkel boat to and hope right in the water, so much fun!

Haleakala at sunrise is breath taking! We have gone up there twice to see the sun rise, the stars you will see are like none other then the sun rises and you find yourself in awe once again. Whatever you do and where ever you go in Maui, relax and enjoy!

Nice shot Puglover, thanks so much for sharing it! I have desperately been trying to get a shot of two of them together when they dive bomb each other. I have not had much luck! LOL Here are the only two captures I have managed, what can I say they are speedy!
