But not necessarily in an on-line (web based) database.

My bank sends out checks to the companies when I use online bill pay. So I get the best of both worlds

Not a rant, but just for info. purposes. We have Comcast internet only, as we only use streaming services on our TVs. Just got the bill three days ago and the price of the internet service has been raised by $5.00. Not so much a big deal given the history of internet providers. If I do have an irritation with Comcast, it is this: we have had it for 14 years since we moved to southeastern MA, and the monthly bill used to come in the mail six days prior to the payment due date. Now, with the sketchy mail situation, we received our last two bills three days before due date.

Do any other Hoggers using Comcast have a similar situation?

On the unknown side, we will be moving out of state in four months, and will be dealing with Cox rather than Comcast.

Cox is no better than Comcast when it comes to raising rates. I think that is just industry standard for such a critical service for most of us. I pay everything with my banks online bill pay, and Cox sends an electronic bill directly to that account so it is visible when I log in. If I need to see an itemized bill I just log into my Cox account.

I lead a photography tour. They are looking for advice from me. I tell them why they should take it off and that usually does the trick. At the same time, not all my incredible and life changing advice is taken. I tell almost all my groups to throw away their front lens cap but no one ever does.

I can see that. I just figured you have at least one or two in the bunch that snears at you and then regrets it later.

Well I imagine if he’s running tours people attend to benefit from his knowledge and experience. It’s pretty much his job NOT to leave them to their own devices.

I was asking because I'm interested in how many show up with little or no knowledge of photography as opposed to those with a solid understanding of their equipment and photography. I could imagine the responses would vary greatly.

I don’t know why you would do that. It’s a specific tool for a specific situation. On my tours one of the first things I tell my guests is to take that filter off if I see they are using one.

And do you get a positive response to this? I mean I see other people taking photos and leave them to their own decisions.

Tommy, again excellent work. If I were to keep the fence I would have started it in the bottom right corner as almost a faux leading line. But then again, it would probably change the entire composition and the house might not have the same impact. The 2nd composition works a little better in my opinion.

I like this one better than the first!
Did you do any showing the complete length of the dock ?

Thanks for the comments. I feel the same way.

I did not. In that first composition, there were only one additional set of mooring poles about 6-8 on shore. The extra distance of shoreline was littered with debris from high tide and didn't flow with the rest of the frame in my opinion.
