But we do know the longterm affects of C***d **.
Shutter priority at 1000th of a second minimum. Auto ISO. Always shoot a burst anticipating the beginning of action and lasting through peak action. Get in tight! To do that you need to get down on the field or get a bigger lens. Shooting from the stand gives the feeling of being OUT of the action. Soccer is one of the most interesting sports in the world (if you know the game) and that is why it is the most popular game in the world!
Our Navy photo lab at NAS Barbers point, Oahu, Hawaii, special ordered one in 1959 and assigned it to me. This in a day when 4X5" press cameras were standard issue. I was a very young Navy photographer at that time and do not remember many of the details of using it for the two years that I was at that lab but what sticks in my mind is that they had to pull strings and wait a great deal of time to receive it because it was made (as I recall) in East Germany. I still have some of the images that I shot with it.
Good read, thanks for sharing and welcome aboard!
I am looking forward to the day when someone says "Trump" and I say "who the hell was he?"
On line ordering, and delivery by USPS, will remain available where I live.
I am left handed and right eyed. I have always easily adapted. My initial photography training was with a 4X5 Speedgraphic (U.Sl Navy) which was made to be carried in the left hand.
I use black sheets from Amazon.com.
To heavyweights. Christmas Eve San Diego. The USS Midway Museum at Navy Pier. In the background is the USS Carl Vinson, CVN-70, at the quay wall, NAS North Island.
I h**e needles too! It was a serious question.
Wow...what a trip! Thanks for sharing.
Nice shot! You are in "tight." I like tight shots. Thanks for sharing.
