My oh my how easily people believe anything and everything they read if it fits their bias. Not saying it isn't true - it might be - but people simply aren't paying attention to how the media is reporting anything.

While he came very close to needing a ventilator from which, due to his age and obesity, he likely would never have recovered were it not for the special drug that he got emergency permission to use but no ordinary citizens can get, he said he "felt better than 20 years ago" and ripping off his mask, told us "don't be afraid of it." And what then was the result of his no big deal message? Lots of people believing that the v***s was no worse than a cold or maybe a mild flu, attended big, crowded rallies with no masks, went to bars, held big parties. If they had gotten sick, could they have been treated by a whole cohort of specialists, gotten rare drugs, be flown back home in helicopters? How many of us know young and middle-aged healthy people who have come down with C***d and died? I do. And how about those who didn't die but were left with disabling breathing, muscular, and cognitive symptoms that just won't go away? No big deal, huh? It's only those pearl clutching, panty wearing, sissy libs who are afraid, right?
