Light meter was far left but still got the shot. Lot of ambient light on the street, still, decent though. No post processing
I like them both but #1 is the best. Great shot by the way
I've lived here all my life and am still finding places to go and shoot. All of these places mentioned are great any season you come. For street photography try union square on 14th street. They have an open fair and a park, then you can pick a avenue and walk downtown to the village. You'll find structures. Cobblestone streets etc... keep your eyes open and enjoy
No, some people don't read and then add irrelevant opinions on top of that to feed their ego. Both of which is not helpful. Only makes them look like rear ends to be nice.
Thank you rdrechsler. Canon 77d, 100mm2.8. Ring light for flash. Handheld. Shot wide open with iso between 100-200 depending on ambient light. Shutter varies. All manual. Had to constantly change settings as lighting and flower positions changed.
Lesson I just learned, lighting lighting lighting, even on full auto you have to watch your lighting as it constantly changes. On manual, its rougher but practice makes better. check, double check your equipment and make sure you have spares, stay humble and do the best you can, if they like it thats all that matters. Can't help you with pricing, go check out youtube. The business side is a whole nother ballgame
A few more before it snows as a reminder that spring is around the corner
Needed to take a quick break from processing the event so I took these. Straight from camera no processing. Let me know what you think.
Thank you dbfalconer, great idea, that exact set of lighting and it's issues is what I learned real quick
Rongnongno, appreciate your response, the flash was pointed up and behind me so it wasn't direct, these pictures aren't completely processed as I stated and if you understood what you were reading, you would know I took a picture of the screen from my laptop so there is glare etc... basically it's not accurate.you would also know I stated this is my first shoot and I am fully aware I'm not a "professional" YET. But thanks for your honesty, appreciated, I must learn how to compensate for heavily applied makeup etc.... I'll get there, you are a true model of encouragement
