I don't try to have one printer that does it all. I have an old Canon Pro9000 Mark II that I use for photos and and all-in-one for my everyday scanning and printing of documents, etc. Having two printers takes up more real estate in my home office, but it works out better for me.
BTW, that old Canon Mark II is a workhorse that continues to put out fine prints.

I abandoned HP years ago and have since used only Epson printers, with which I've always been happy. There are several models to choose from, and occasionally you can find a refurbished one on Epson's website, or eBay.
I have come to the conclusion that there aren't any reliable printers under $300. I also abandoned HP years ago after having two of them fail right after the warranty expiration. I switched to a Canon and was very happy with it. Unfortunately, it was damaged in a move and I was not able to replace it with a similar model. I now have an Epson that I am very unhappy with. I have had numerous problems with it from Day One and Epson's tech support has been less helpful. They also would not honor their warranty.

Regarding posts above about the choice of getting a Covid-19 Vaccine shot, the current data showing that 90% of the new hospitalized Covid cases are unvaccinated individuals, I continue to be amazed and baffled that anyone would not get vaccinated.
We are seeing Darwin's theory of natural selection taking place. Many of those who refuse to get vaccinated are being eliminated from the gene pool.

Yes they do and thats their choice. Again you have no right telling someone what to do with their body as adults as long as they are not hurting anyone. You can tell them the risk factors and offer help but then choice is theirs. IMO...I have friends weithvacvine and friends without. I love them all the same. Most have already got the virus and had a little cold for a few days and believe they have they antibodies which is stronger than the vaccine. I dont judge any of their choices. Divide and conquer is the agenda. Less than 1% of country has got the virus but we destroy the countries economy over it. If you want to stay in and hide from virus i welcome that and if you want to socialize I dont judge that either. You want wear a mask your choice or maskless im fine with that also. Just ask one question, if the vaccine works and you have it why are you still scared. Just as many people with vaccine if not more are catching the virus...hmm...remember just my thoughts. Am I right I dont know but soon the facts wont be hidden by gov't and we may all see we were fooled.
Yes they do and thats their choice. Again you have... (

But those who aren't vaccinated and who don't wear masks are not only hurting people, they are killing people. They are responsible for us being in the situation we are in. They are very selfish people who only care about themselves.
I do have to say that things have gotten better since the beginning of the year. Since then, all packages have been delivered on time. Also, the people who work for USPS are hard working and I don't want any criticism I make to reflect on them. It's not their fault. My understanding is that the problems that I, and several others, experienced earlier this year resulted from cost-saving measures that were implemented by the Postmaster General.
I had a problem with a small package earlier this year that made it as far as a USPS distribution center where it sat for close to 2 months. Initially, my local postmaster was helpful, but when she couldn't locate it she basically gave up. The only explanation she gave me was that it was probably sitting in a truck somewhere.
I really don't want to revive an old argument, but this study should settle the question.

I assume you mean the A1000. I bought one a year ago for the same reasons as you - for my wife to use and as a back up for me when we travel. Due to the pandemic, we haven't used it much, but so far I am impressed. I bought it because it was lightweight, would fit into a jacket pocket or my wife's purse, has a viewfinder, and has the option for raw. There are a couple of drawbacks, however. One is that not all post-processing programs will work with its NRW raw files. I mostly use DxO PhotoLab and even its latest version doesn't have a module for the A1000. You can use Nikon's own NX Studio, but that's not all that great. The other problem I've run into is that the EN-EL12 battery has been out of stock for months and I haven't been able to find a suitable third-party replacement to use as a back up battery. The viewfinder is small, but still handy in bright light. Overall, I would recommend it, particularly if, like me, you prefer to stick with Nikons.

Typical response when you can't counter with something of substance.
Looking over your posts, I also see a complete absence of substance.

Inability to prove the positive affirms the negative.
That is absolute rubbish, like all of your other posts.

Please provide the proof. We have been waiting for that proof for six pages now.
And you haven't provided any proof to the contrary.

There is no proof that a face mask is going to keep you from getting C***d. And by the way, hundreds of thousands are k**led each year in automobile accidents so automobiles are even more dangerous than C***d so let,s require everybody to park their cars. That will certainly flatten the curve.
I respectfully disagree. The is ample proof that wearing a mask significantly reduces the chance that infected individuals will spread the v***s. And, your argument that more people are k**led each year in automobile accidents than C***D, even if true, is pretty lame.

I totally agree but forcing people to wear a mask is not respecting ones choice.
Yes it is. It respects my choice to remain healthy and stay alive. I am immunoc*********d from cancer treatment. Although I've been v******ted, C***D would likely k**l me.
My mother always used to say, "God helps those who help themselves." In these times, I think we can paraphrase that and say, "God protects those who protect themselves."
This is why I've never taken a course with a well-known photographer.
