Anytime we protect ourselves from anything is not an indication we don't trust God. That's a rather stupid statement. If I get stopped for not wearing a seat belt I can just tell the officer not to worry because God is protecting me?😇

My mother always used to say, "God helps those who help themselves." In these times, I think we can paraphrase that and say, "God protects those who protect themselves."

My father told us (me and my sister) that repeatedly. I've always understood that to mean, "don't rely on anyone else - do it yourself". I think it's an excellent phrase for any situation - do your own research and get it done (wh**ever it is). That's why we have brains!

The purpose of face masks is thought to be two-fold: to prevent the passage of germs from the surgeon's nose and mouth into the patient's wound and to protect the surgeon's face from sprays and splashes from the patient.

Well, if ever you will go to surgery, ask the doctors not to wear any mask, and better yet, tell them not to wash their hands too.

Thanks for the info. It occurs to me that wearing masks would help stop the spread of germs even if one is not a surgeon performing surgery. Hence, in the middle of a deadly p******c, it would be prudent to wear a mask.

I totally agree but forcing people to wear a mask is not respecting ones choice.
