If that price is from a camera shop that will stand behind their product, go for it. If it's from an individual, I would be very careful. With ebay, you have the return option if the product is not as advertised.
I have 2, the Tokina already mentioned and the Nikon 60mm f2.8 D micro Nikkor...love them both
Seen them advertised, no, no, never, never, uhh, uhh, uhh.
I am old and forgetful; 2 or 3 weeks ago I was shaving my 3 day growth when the battery in my razor died. So I plugged it in to charge and went about my business. 4 hours later I'm at a location where people take photos of Lake Ontario and I'm walking around taking photos and people are looking at weirdly(or so I thought). So I go home and and empty memory cards and go to the bathroom and wash my hands --- and there in the mirror is a man with a half -shaved face... the end...
The body would always be first...
I think the tripod for a 50 caliber machine gun would hold it, but you would have to lie down to look through it...
That is not being lazy, that's being plain stupid...
Long lens, over 400mm, preferably that some idiot is almost giving away...
Took a walk in the woods(it was supposed to rain, but did not); this is the result...the minimalist part of the last photo was fitting the single focal point in between the 2 front trees...
I use the viewfinder on every camera I own that has one...
Buy a used Nikon D300(300-450) and a Nikon 24-85 f3.5 ED VR lens(600-800). You will not be disappointed.
If I had the money I would get the Sony a7R11, 42mp and a back illuminated sensor, I can't imagine what the photos look like...
I also have the sonar t 55mm Zeiss and it is a great, fast, and very sharp lens. My avatar was taken with that lens on my Sony a7...
