I have a small remote control for my Nikon. Since it's not attached to the camera there is no movement caused when fired.

If you were to read the laws on race passed by Congress, you would see that minorities are NOT subject to the laws NOR ARE members of Congress..

With just sharpening it looks better. A bit more PS bit-level work and it would be even better. Time consuming though. Better if a better copy of photo was available.

Looking at the photo it appears most all can be repaired somewhat in PS but my question would be about the right hand. That area of the photo is gone so the question is Does he have a right hand?

Don't just discard using a scanner on an all-in-one unit. The scanners are good and with software like 'Epson Scan', you can scan a lot of pictures, up to 8 1/2 X 11 each. and capture the scans. Plus, you don't have a piece of equipment sitting on a shelf somewhere when you're done, like I have.................

If you use MS Office, you can make great slide shows with PowerPoint. Even produce one that will play on a pc without PowerPoint installed.

How many here make timeless photos and how many make snapshots that will die with them?
I mean die by no one will care nor cull through the thousands of snapshots but dispose of them as meaningless to anyone but the author.

Most of us try for timeless but rarely, if ever, succeed. Often the success is just "accidental". By that I mean we have the camera and the skills to use it to capture a photo and the timeless scene pops up and we turn, and all those skills obtained, shooting plain ole pics, are applied for that timeless capture.
Example: In 1956 at the Chinese New Year Parade in Washington DC a news photographer turned and saw a scene that became a timeless photo. Photo got a full page in LIFE magazine, a Pulitzer Prize and became the logo of Father Flanagan's Boy's Town for many years.
My dad said it was the last side of the last cartridge he had for the 4X5 press camera.
The photo, attached, is called "Faith and Confidence" The officer went on to be the Police Chiel of Washington DC.

Have recently bought set of three, came with 3 batteries for each and all work very well.
Sad fact is it's the switch that fails soonest. I've got half a dozen with bad switches, and all are just a tad different so you can't use switches interchangeably........

Personally I would do it with PowerPoint so I could add titles, music and timing. Then generate a show that would play on any Windows pc even if it didn't have PP installed on it.

Retirement is a state of mind. I've retired 5 times, the first in 1996, and finally for the last time a few years ago. It's OK to just be retired......

I haven't found a laser printer that gives good image quality output and I've given up on inkjet simply because the heads are always plugged off when I need it.

I've gone with dye-sub printers and love it! Great image quality and no problems with sporadic operation.

What is a dye-sub printer? Term is new to me.
