For the plate illusion, what is weird (for me at least) is that it REALLY worked, but only once. From now on I never see the illusion. I wonder if that is the same for others.

If you keep staring at the magenta + green dot illusion, the magenta dots disappear completely and all you see is the moving green one.

I have to look for my computer glasses/phone/keys every month or so.

I think the different streaming services are up against a pretty tough situation. They have to create new programming and purchase other programming in order to retain subscribers, but that costs money and meanwhile the subscriber base is not growing. They are at what is called a mature market -- no room for significant growth in customers. So they have to raise prices and put in ads, knowing that this will cause them the loose subscribers.

But you and I have to manage things from our end. What I have done was to cut some subscriptions, but I meanwhile keep notes on shows that I would want to see. Next year I can renew those subscriptions and cut others.

The OP wants to share them with a broader audience. I understand that.

It's been my flash for years, and it is very good although pricey. I have the Kuangren model, but that is the same as the Venus model. Like sippyjug I recommend to tie together the arms in order to better stabilize them. You can use a number of light-weight bowls for diffusers (Chinese instant soup bowls, etc). Information about the external battery port is a well-hidden secret, apparently, but I was told that mine is the Canon CP-E4N (=CP-E4), & many external battery packs work with that.
