Looking at the OP’s avatar I see someone taking a picture with, of all things, a camera. Maybe he is into photography.

Did it really cost anybody anything to be friendly?

What does this have to do with photography?

Excuse me, but the name of this forum is "General Chit-Chat (non-photography talk)".

Okay, here's what I did. My grand-daughter graduated high school last year and I bought her a Laptop Computer to be used when she started College in the Fall. She had already been accepted into College and had a student Id Number. I paid for the laptop myself and then reimbursed myself from her 529 College Fund. I am the administrator of her 529 College Fund. I know laptops are a qualified college expense. I received a 1099-Q from the 529 plan showing the distribution and showing me as the recipient of the money. Question. How the heck do I file this on my tax return?

I personally feel you did not do wrong... as for the legality, I do not know/have an answer to give.

Yes, really enjoyed Mad Magazine... and there was also a racing cartoon magazine that I enjoyed. Just can't remember the name of it.

Had saved a lot of them, but they, along with my Playboy collection "disappeared" while I was in 'Nam.

I log on daily and especially when I'm having a bad day.... "General Chit-Chat (non-photography talk)" usually makes the day better... and especially when Graham has posted his humor.

And, as always, if one does not like a post (or section), they can easily pass over it.

Somehow I think there's more to the story. Nobody's "born an addict" except those poor children whose mother used drugs while they were in vitro. However, depression CAN lead to drug usage and depression can be biological. Don't label usn ret with smugness, however. It was merely a play on words....in this case the word "drug" and a description of our lives in the 50's and 60's.

Well said.

Unfortunately, today these drugs will likely land you in jail.

Unfortunately, in today's society of ours, this is so true.

Snoops is not the only source to verify.
The photo was a Brazilian photo shoot for a calendar.

No disrespect intended to our female veterans or anyone else.

The "Old Time Radio Player" from Mobile Software Design LLC is available from Android's Play Store and has all of these and many hundreds of others from many genres. You can pick and chose or hear endless, seemless programs. I've heard all of Fibber's episodes in the last 2 years and Drama, Mystery, SciFi, Western, Detective, Police, Comedy and Adventure. Listen while in post-production.

Yes, there are plenty of Old Time Radio players available for your phones. There are free versions and paid versions. I found the paid version(s) much better than the free... giving you many more shows and episodes. But, try the free versions first.

Brings back many memories of when I was a military brat in Germany (57-61).... Armed Forces Radio (no tv back then).

I go to sleep every night listening to various shows. Helps me sleep. Enjoying them immensely.

It seems like there is a "... for Dummies" book for just about any subject. Just out of curiosity, I wanted to see how many books there are in that series, and I came up with 2,466. Obviously, the dummy market is huge! : )

I think I have three on different topics, and I have to admit that they are pretty good.

I have several on photography.... and then I even have one on FERRETS.

All are good sources.
