One of our camera club meetings invited a group of powered parachute flyers who run a club locally. These fellows are all relatively good photographers. The meeting turned out to be the best meeting of the year we had them present. Frankly, I fly general aviation. I do not think it is possible to achieve low speed aerial photography better than with these low cost, relatively stable flying machines.

That, and the Sport pilot license, so easily attained is a reason I am looking at one of these as one of the most economical and stable flight platforms, and stop flying and paying fuel cost for a Cessna 152, not to mention other outragely expensive costs.
