The only other thing I would do if possible, is to shoot at F4 or more open, like f2.8, rather than your f5.6 lens to soften a bit the image.

All three beautiful pictures. Love the first one, it gives you perspective, and a sense of being there

I recently found a stash of B&W and color slide film that's probably about 10+ years old. Is this film still viable? Or should I dump it and sell my Nikon DF?

Why would you want to sell your FM because of expired film?? You can buy film from so many vendors, unless you're not longer interested with film cameras anymore.

Is so funny when I hear X years in the military, like it means anything. Specially being realistic in today's world in the US, most people just pull a gun on each other, and all that military experience means nothing but a dead guy by a bullet. Also, a man being little or tall means nothing, that little man could be a martial arts expert that could put a 300 pounds man down in less than 30 seconds. So never underestimate a little man either.

Don't waste your time trying to get inside my head. You couldn't get past my knee! Have a nice day, Robbie!

But I could beat the S out of you if you were in my presence. Guaranteed.

No response. Waste of time! You know not what you are talking about!

It's you that doesn't knows. Typical mindless human, who sees this as normal. Probably, if you hit an animal with your car, wouldn't, couldn't care one bit. It just was an animal, no big deal. Probably, just laugh about it.

Yeah, it seems like ignorant people have the most to say about things they know nothing about! It used to amaze me. Now it just disappoints me!!

How pathetic, your justification. It's like those people that to relax they go fishing. They have to kill without a need to relax.

To me nothing more repugnant than caged birds. If you think that that's stupid because you and OP think so, that only shows.

Of course I know the behavior of those birds that since they were hatched they don't know better. They're conditioned since birth, that that's their world. To me that's sad and pathetic. To you probably is nothing just an animal bred for human entertainment.

Sorry, but I have say this: Terrible picture. So much that you can't see what is what, plus caged birds. I hate to see that.

My beloved CZJ 50mm Pancolar focusing ring was getting stiff so I looked for a place to do a CLA, and I hit the jackpot. Camera Clinic USA. For $85, my lens was given new life. It’s better now than the day I bought it! If you need any vintage gear serviced, I highly recommend you contact steve@cameraclinicusa.com.

This post was not sponsored 😜!

For everyone's info. There's also Camera Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
So as to not get confused when googling, because both show, unless you type the the specific web address.

I have used Camera Clinic in Ft. Lauderdale. They are very good also. The only drawback from them is that they not longer service Medium Format cameras.

Looked like business was slow?

Probably not. Even in the middle of high tourist season, at bustling places like Fisherman's Warf if you take pictures at the piers from the sea, it looks quiet, because unauthorized people are not allowed, but if you take pictures from the other side of the building, it's normally a different story. But yes, it could have been slow.
