Unexpected Wedding Ceremony

A photo buddy volunteered his services to shoot a large Polynesian wedding. 500+ guests. He had never shot a wedding before, and knew very little about flash photography. I told him that I would assist in shooting the ceremony, and give him a quick tutorial on flash photography. I have attached a few of my grab snaps from the shoot.

Candid shots are SO nice - better than the planned ones, I think. And I'll agree with everyone else - that cake is awesome! I wonder what they'll do with it all?

Very good candids of the guests, especially the children. That’s a lot of cake but I’m sure 500 gusts will consume all of it in short order!
