People put all kinds of bird pics on here so I thought I’d put pics of MY birdies on here. I didn’t have to go further than my easy chair to take them. Their names are Blue and Bud.

Sorry, but I have say this: Terrible picture. So much that you can't see what is what, plus caged birds. I hate to see that.

Nothing wrong with the pics but I hope you don't keep them in the cage all the time. I've had buggies all my life and they had the run of the house like the rest of the family...only went to their cage, voluntarily, to sleep and eat..

I've had Budgies and Cockatiels all my life. And they also had the run of the place. But their cage was their home where they felt secure and safe. Anytime a stranger to them came to the house they would retreat to their cage and stay there until the unfamiliar person had left.
The photos are fine!

Yep, my female the blue one, won't go further than the outside of her cage. She'll crawl around the outside of it but she won't fly away from it, she's comfortable and safe there. It amazes me how nosy and negative people are when they have nothing to do with something someone else owns.

Yeah, it seems like ignorant people have the most to say about things they know nothing about! It used to amaze me. Now it just disappoints me!!

How pathetic, your justification. It's like those people that to relax they go fishing. They have to kill without a need to relax.

To me nothing more repugnant than caged birds. If you think that that's stupid because you and OP think so, that only shows.

Of course I know the behavior of those birds that since they were hatched they don't know better. They're conditioned since birth, that that's their world. To me that's sad and pathetic. To you probably is nothing just an animal bred for human entertainment.

It's you that doesn't knows. Typical mindless human, who sees this as normal. Probably, if you hit an animal with your car, wouldn't, couldn't care one bit. It just was an animal, no big deal. Probably, just laugh about it.

When you have a budgie like those and you see how happy they are each day, there's not a criticism from some loser that matters.

Actually,Robert, I like to hunt, whether it’s for deer, birds, squirrels, anything that moves. The thing I like to do the most is fish, and I have a freezer full of them most of the time. Now, try to sleep tonight without having nightmares of all those creatures crying out in pain.

Robert, did you know that vegetables have feelings also? Do you have any idea how much it hurts them when you pull them out of their comfortable home, the ground? Or when you slice them up with your knife, or when you put them into the pot to cook them? Don’t you hear them screaming when you immerse them in a pot of boiling water or grease? How can you be so cruel to those sweet, helpless plants? What about when you bite into those apples, haven’t you heard them crying out in pain?
