Get yourself a GOOD set of filter wrenches (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=filter%20wrench&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ps). Make sure you get sets to include the smallest & largest filters in your bag. The plastic wrenches will break at the least opportune moment.

I have a Meike MK-14EXT-N ring light/flash that I use on my A7RIII & Tokina 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. Got it from B&H for $88.00 4½ years ago. I use it in manual mode since it was designed for a Nikon hot shoe. The only complaint I've had with it is it eats batteries when turned off. I now take the batteries out when I'm done shooting.

Love the last shot of the young lady enjoying her ice cream. Obviously had a good visit with Santa.

I lost most of my Picasa's when I switched to PSE18. I did have several that had been uploaded to Google Photos and, thank goodness, I had made DVD's and print albums and prints. I'm now becoming a backup bug, making flash drives, print albums, and Dropbox.

As has been said elsewhere, Picasa doesn't store photos. It's just an editor. Your photos are still on your hard drive where ever you put them originally.

I'm with Mark. Picasa is just an editor. I store my photos in RAW format on 2 external drives after extracting a JPG version to play with.

I recently had my computer go down. The technicians at Staples failed to back up my files. They replaced my hard drive but did not clone the old one. I now have a copy of Picasa which has a small library of my pictures. When I start Picasa It starts to load pictures but after a short while it stops and closes. Can anyone help me reload the rest of my pictures to the Picasa I have on my computer or can I transfer pictures from Google Photos to picasa? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Picasa is still available for download. Uninstall it from your computer, download a fresh copy, & do a fresh install.

Is Picasa still a working processor? I used it years ago, and I thought it was discontinued.

Yes. It's still available for download. I haven't found a need for anything fancier. It is no longer supported and has been replaced by Google Photos (I think that's the name).

Hi Nick thanks for your response. I have located a 60volt 18ah Lithium for 299 English. My concerns are with wiring/connectors etc.

Connections shouldn’t be a problem. They should be the same as what you have now. Good luck with your conversion.

Lithium batteries are significantly more expensive than the ones but do give much better. performance. I work at Batteries Plus Bulbs in Chandler, AZ. We sell an AGM battery for some Harley Davidson motorcycles for $200.00. The equivalent in a lithium battery is $350.00. The battery shown in the video Manglesphoto found is not truly a sealed lead acid battery. It is AGM & stands for Absorbed Glass Mat. The acid is absorbed into fiberglass mats during manufacture essentially turning the battery into a dry cell. Makes the battery much more shake, vibration, & temperature resistant. I’m with agillot. AGM is much more reliable.

I wouldn’t go back to that clinic even if I’d used them for many years & I’d let them know why. Told 1 clinic I had another appointment scheduled shortly after theirs. If I couldn’t be seen on time (and I wasn’t), I would leave & reschedule. They threatened to hit with a missed appointment charge. Never went back & was never hit with the fee.

The Polynesian Cultural Center on the North Shore. It’s a most of the day affair, not cheap, & includes dinner. Excellent presentation of the south pacific culture. Lenses-short to medium zoom; not longer than 200mm. You’ll need something fairly fast for the evening performance. My wife & I were there in the early 80’s and thoroughly enjoyed it. Google Polynesian Cultural Center for more info. Be aware that it is run by the Mormons so, there are no beverages with caffeine such as coffee or Coke. Also on Oahu used to be the Kodak Hula Show. It’s free but, I’m not sure it’s still operating. Enjoy your trip.

I only leave Windows & programs on my desktop C drive with data only there temporarily. F & G drives are my backup drives. I move newly created data to the F drive & about once a week backup to the G drive. They are 2T & 6T respectively. No particular reason for the size difference except that I got a good deal on them. My C drive is currently a 320gig drive. F & G are in an external USB drive holder so I can remove or add as needed. It works for me. I don’t see any appreciable access time loss over the network when I’m working on my laptop.

Thanks Nick. Thought I would try here. I have pretty good luck buying from UHH members.

Understand. I’ve sold several items here & not had any complaints. If you don’t get any response here, B&H is available.

Beautiful photo. I always make it a point to visit Mount Washington & the Incline anytime I'm visiting family in Pittsburgh.
